    Front of The Castle

    Outdoor ceremonies at The Castle are our specialty. The front of The Castle is the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies. Comfortable seating, beautiful decorations, a special outdoor sound system with wireless microphones and, of course, an absolutely beautiful setting make for a perfect outdoor ceremony are the beginning of the many amenities that The Castle has to offer.

    The Ballroom

    The main entrance into The Castle is through the ballroom's double leaded, glass and mahogany doors. The ballroom is the main indoor reception area. Crystal chandeliers, white columns and inlaid floors adorn this glass-enclosed area.

      Louisiana Castle It’s such a joy getting married here! The venue is of course beautiful and had many of our guests going “What? A castle?” Everyone loved the experience of being there and being able to take photos on the Castle steps. Yes, it is far from the city, but we warned our guests and they were okay to drive home. This venue was a lot cheaper than others in New Orleans and the food was good as well. We wished we could have tried the food options prior to making selections, but it ended up fine regardless. Dolly is so sweet and makes sure that your financials are on track without being overbearing. Mary was instrumental in making the day go smoothly. My side of the family has a language barrier, and even they thought she was amazing and so easy to work with. She took care of so much and used her experience to make everything run well while also allowing us to do what we wanted as the bride and groom. Our bartenders were running late due to a van breakdown, and the Castle staff got all hands on deck to unload the alcohol and make sure that cocktail hour would still happen as planned. The views here made for the most incredible photos. Even better was staying at the Castle overnight – we got to walk around after all the guests had left, and the views from the Juliette Suite the next morning were gorgeous. The cleanup staff were so considerate and had taken their shoes off so that they wouldn’t wake us up while they cleaned the ballroom! Overall – we had a dream wedding and can’t recommend Louisiana Castle enough.

      Everything was perfect .Great communication and Mrs.Dolly was great with accommodations… Mrs .Mary did an outstanding job … The food was great it’s a perfect venue for wedding or event …. I would recommend them to anyone …They made my fairy tale wedding come true …

      During the past 25 plus years, I have photographed more than 250 events at the Castle. I always recommend the Castle to my clients for numerous reasons. The staff is friendly, accommodating and very professional. The food is excellent and prepared there at the Castle. Every event that I have photographed runs like clockwork. While photographing there, I haven’t seen any problems or issues arise. The Castle backdrop gives me postcard like pictures. When I deliver pictures to my clients, they often thank me for recommending the Castle. Also, the Castle has become my favorite venue to photograph weddings. None of my clients have ever mentioned anything negative to me concerning their experience at the Castle. Yes, this venue is the real deal. Larry Crain

      The Castle is a wedding venue unlike any other that offers unique opportunities for memorable photos and video backgrounds. It's also very well laid out for a smooth and easy wedding transition from the pre-ceremony getting ready, through the ceremony and reception so that everyone can relax and enjoy their time there. The staff are well organized and very attentive to making sure everything goes smoothly so that bride and groom and their wedding guest can all have a good time. It's a high value, quality location that I'm always happy to be doing photography and video for weddings at.
