“We had Makena as our wedding photographer for our November wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with! It has taken me a little bit to write a review because there's a million things I could write about and narrowing it down was a task. First, she was more than willing to meet with us well before the wedding to go over what to expect because we were in the dark about the whole wedding process so knowing what we needed to tell a photographer was new to us. She went above and beyond. As a bride I was a little stressed that day and she helped me in everyway. She gave advice, was so generous as to go and receive something I needed, even went to check on things and communicated things for me. I never would have expected that but it honestly helped me out tremendously and actually was a main point to helping the wedding go so smoothly. My husband and I aren't exactly comfortable taking pictures and I was nervous because I wouldn't know how we were suppose to pose or anything like that. “Knowing how much of a financial investment a wedding photographer was going to be, I did not take my decision lightly.
