“Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness. Shawn handled all these obstacles very smoothly, kept an eye on the crowd and helped us stay in tune with when we needed to get the dance floor going. He played the songs we requested and helped us out with choosing songs for younger people. Since the wedding went by so quickly, I think the thing I am most grateful for is all the photos and videos he took of the night. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. “Lucas was recommended to us as "the DJ you want to hire if you want someone you can trust to keep your dance floor full and to read the crowd to keep your party going," which immediately appealed to us. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). In addition to being an excellent DJ, he's also a great guy to be around, and on your wedding day, it's really nice to feel like you are surrounded by people you want to spend time with. “If your looking for an awesome, amazing DJ for your special event, soundz amazing DJ service is the way to go. Mike was absolutely amazing in everything that he did to make it an amazing night. My wedding was far from traditional. We had a disney themed wedding, Mike came up with ideas on how to incorporate the theme, he introduced the bridesmaids and groomsman as princesses and princes, and the bride and groom as queen and king. He came up with the idea of doing voiceovers to make the father and daughter dance and the husband and wife a little more special. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. He got everyone on the dance floor, the song selections were great. He listens to what couples want, he really spends time to get to know his clients before the event. He makes sure everything is correct even if there happens to be changes the day before or the day of. Mike and his wife were everything we were looking for in a dj service. “Amazing, helpful and flexible! I had spoken to Matt, the owner, who was so understanding about the stress we had dealt with in rescheduling our 2020 May wedding. He was so sympathetic and wanted to help make our September 2020 micro-wedding special and memorable for us! He was understanding, compassionate and sympathetic about our situation. Although Matt was unavailable to DJ our 9/20 wedding, we were told in advance that Dan was very good and would be stepping in. We spoke with Dan just about a week before our wedding and got 95% of the info he needed (because WE were being indecisive) oops. Then, the night before the wedding, he got the last few songs he needed from me via text! Unbelievable! He played all the songs we requested and timed our precessional and recessional songs perfectly!! If you get a DJ for your wedding- choose LB Entertainment!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Brian did an amazing job for our hybrid Guyanese-American wedding. With our ceremony, Brian did a great job following our difficult instructions related to some of the music to be played, and did a fantastic job on some of the premixes for the walk. He also had everything needed such as speakers and microphones for the ceremony and confirmed and communicated with us on everything to ensure it went smoothly. We needed a mix of chutney/soca and American music for our reception and Brian did an amazing job that satisfied EVERYONE. He was familiar with a lot of our music, which was awesome, and did an amazing job mixing the music with more American music to satisfy everyone. I can't recall a moment the dance floor was empty. We had an amazing wedding day and LTL was a large reason why our wedding went smoothly and everyone had an amazing time. I would highly recommend LTL for your wedding. Especially if you are multicultural or need someone to provide non-american music, which can be difficult to find in the area. We are so happy we went with Brian and LTL, it was an absolutely amazing party!”

“We had Emmet and Naomi for our indoor December wedding, the venue was a log cabin style lodge. They were a perfect match and we were so glad we chose them. They learned one of our favorite songs for the opening to our ceremony, playing a beautiful instrumental version of it. Our guests loved the music, that it was accessible for everyone, young and old alike. We had toddlers dancing in front of the band, but the guests seated closest to the band during dinner could still carry on a conversation easily. A lot of people really appreciated this, that they could add ambiance and energy without overpowering you. We especially want to thank them for traveling through the blizzard conditions to be there that weekend. We were hoping for a snowy winter wedding, and we got all the snow we could handle that weekend! The Poor Cousins really helped everything come together for us, and we would absolutely recommend them to anybody!”

“You won’t regret hiring Tony and Platinum Entertainment, but you will regret not hiring them. Your DJ/MC is one of the most if not the most important vendor that you will book for your wedding. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true. Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. Throughout the planning process, Tony guided us through everything we needed, made recommendations, and not only tolerated but encouraged my many Taylor Swift requests (or demands). Our wedding was less than 60 people including my husband and I. With such an intimate wedding, we were nervous for a while leading up to the event that people wouldn’t dance, or might even treat it more like a dinner party than a wedding. We were so wrong! The dance floor went ALL NIGHT because of Tony. Friends and family members that I have never seen dance, on the dance floor for our ENTIRE reception having the time of their lives.
