His preparation and attention to detail beforehand was immaculate, as he spent over an hour with my partner and me going over the entire wedding day step by step. The sound systems were flawless- everyone could hear our vows during the ceremony and the quality of the sound during the entire day and night was exceptional. He kept our wedding very organized and was the perfect host. Regarding the music selection, he allowed us to make playlists for the cocktail hour and reception which he stuck to using beautiful transitions between songs. Our guests were dancing the entire night! All of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. 10/10 DJ, would definitely recommend him for any event. I included a pic of me doing the worm in my wedding dress. The dance floor was too packed so I had to do it on the side!”

“We hired the 9-piece for our wedding (incl. jazz trio for the cocktail hour) and they rocked! Every single member of the band was super talented. Our producer Andy was super responsive and did a great job selecting musicians that went with the vibes we wanted (more classic vs modern). Our male singer did an incredible rendition of our first dance song exactly as we requested and it blew us away!!! The MC was also incredible and nailed all of the formalities. My only complaint is that we did not get a copy of our set list at the end of the night!”

He assured me we will have communication throughout the entire process. We kept in constant contact by email, had a phone call and did a zoom meeting. Even at the part where we were waiting outside to get called in for our introductions after the ceremony and photos he was waiting out there for us. He made sure we were all on the same page and what to expect and where he would like our party to stand while my husband and I danced. It started to rain pretty hard while he was doing this and people kept telling him to hurry up and get us inside. He did not listen to them and kept it at the pace we wanted it as we were having the best time standing in the rain, cooling down, and it was exactly what we needed before we were called in for our introduction and first dance and he knew we were having a great time in the rain. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”
