Hire one team for photography and videography! We are a wedding studio based in Portland, Oregon. We strive to capture timeless, heartfelt, and sincere imagery for couples in Portland and across the West Coast.

From the moment we booked A Beautiful Union, the videography team was a dream to work with. Their communication was prompt, clear, and they took the time to truly understand our vision for the day. The quality of their work was top-notch - exquisite, pristine, and preciously detailed . On the day of our wedding, Daniel from A Beautiful Union was an absolute pleasure to have by our side, capturing all the special moments in a way that felt natural and unobtrusive. The final video was more beautiful than we could have imagined, allowing us to relive our wedding day over and over again. I can't think of a better person to trust with preserving the memories of your special day than A Beautiful Union. Highly, highly recommend!

Finisterre Visuals

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Mountain View, CA

So what does finisterre mean? Finisterre is Latin. If you know some Spanish, you’ll recognize two words squeezed into one: “fin” and “tierra,” essentially meaning the world’s end. Don’t worry, not in an apocalyptic sense of the word — it’s actually a place. It’s where the Romans once stood in modern-day Spain. They looked across the vast Atlantic Ocean, and thought to themselves “is this the end of the road?” Finisterre is an ode to that majestic feeling of unknown. Getting married is one of those unique experiences.

We hired Ryan and his team to capture video for our wedding day. We could not be happier with that decision. The video Ryan created for us is a forever cherished memory. The video book he created has been shown off countless times and is now a favorite toy of our son who likes to point out friends and family as they appear on screen. During the wedding day Ryan’s crew were punctual, professional, and very well coordinated. They knew where to be, what to capture, and worked with minimal support from us or the venue staff. They worked great with our photographers. Our photog even praised how easy Ryan’s crew made the day the next time we met with her. The videos that Ryan created for us were exceptional. We wanted a highlights reel style video of two different lengths. Ryan left us with a short video that we were able to post to social media and a longer video we shared directly with friends and family. They captured all of our favorite moments, put everyone into the video, and weaved together the story of the day beautifully. We still tear up rewatching it three years later. I can’t recommend Ryan and Finisterre Visuals highly enough. It’s hard to know who to trust to capture once in a lifetime moments. For us, Ryan will always be our top choice.

Cook Captures

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Mountain View, CA

Hi there, my name is Caleb but most people call me Cook. I spent almost 13 years in the southeast filming weddings, events, corporate gigs and commercials. I moved to California in 2012 and pursued a different career. A couple years ago I decided to get back into event videography and started Cook Captures. When shooting events I have a very hands off candid style. I love to capture people naturally having fun, enjoying the day and creating memories. Every event I film is unique and each film ends up with it’s own story and narrative that fit the couple, venue, guests and overall vibe of your wedding.

Awarded Best of Zola

  • Serves Mountain View, CA

My name is Ben. I am a LA-based Wedding Filmmaker who runs on emotion-driven films that tell the story of you as a couple. The wedding day for sure! - But lets be honest, the wedding day is only whatit is because of who you are together before and after the day is done. Let's get some of that. That's the stuff that lasts longer than a few years after your wedding. The stuff your kids will pull out and watch.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Benjamin Thomas Film for our wedding videography was truly an incredible experience. Ben has a personable, easy-going and professional communication style that made us feel comfortable from our very first conversation. The attention to detail and high quality of his work is evident in the beautiful wedding video he created for us. Ben took the time to capture both of our personalities and showcased this in the video. He also added a personal touch by including a special section dedicated to my mother who is no longer with us, which is a memory that brings everyone to tears when watching our video. We love ending our anniversary each year by watching the video, and our guests always comment on how much fun was had on our special day when we post it online. Thank you for the memories, Ben!

My husband and I spent months looking for the perfect videographer for our wedding- since we are both creative people, we wanted someone who values storytelling, has a documentary style that captures the real emotions of the day, and cares deeply about their craft. Talking to Saja felt like finding our creative soulmate, because she goes above and beyond on all of these fronts. She is incredibly detail oriented and has an incredible eye for elements you might not think of as a bride and groom. And to top it all off she’s super down-to-earth and was so fun to work with day-of. I can’t recommend her enough!

Stamper Films LLC

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Mountain View, CA for additional fees

Stamper Films has been capturing and editing videos since 2014. Our goal is to tell the story of your wedding in a thoughtful, creative, and genuine way so that you and your guests can remember and relive this special day for years to come.

My husband and I were going back and forth on whether we wanted videography at our wedding, and I am so so glad we decided to go with stamper films! Firstly, they were affordable and fit in our budget. Even better, their style is documentary-like filming which we love! Looking at our videos now, it feels like an authentic, real, romantic view was captured. Yan Li was super easy to work with & everything went seamlessly. We felt very comfortable with him & his assistant, and they were so respectful of our photographer as well. Our wedding video makes me cry just thinking about it. Then I turn it on & I really start to cry— our vows overlayed on top of the footage, the scenery & details that were captured, & especially the emotion Stamper Films got on camera. 10/10 and if I ever needed videography again I would go to Stamper Films.
