Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

Buchanan Hall, located in Upperville, VA, is an elegant wedding venue characterized by its vintage elegance. Constructed in the early 1900s, this property has an old-world charm that you and your significant other will surely adore. It is nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Hunt Country. You and your partner can pledge your love on the Stone Terrace, a delightful space that offers eye-catching views of the Blue Ridge mountains. The immaculate Front Gardens can accommodate ceremonies and lawn games. Alternatively, your “I do” can take place inside The Stage room. Featuring original wooden floors and superlative acoustics, this room has received legendary acts like Patsy Cline, Duke Ellington, and Chauncey Brown. Be sure to savor your meal and dance the night away in The Ballroom, a banquet hall that boasts intimate lighting fixtures and bay windows.
