We LOVED every single minute of our wedding at Camp Campbell. The space was gorgeous and perfect for our Camp Wedding. The staff could not have been more helpful and caring. If you are looking for a Camp wedding this place is true Magic. You have to be willing to plan, take initiative and DIY leading up the day of but it will be worth it. Our wedding was a bit out of the box with a Variety show as our rehearsal dinner. We used Camp Campbells beautiful stage and campfire area as the venue for the show. The camp staff made the fire for us and supplied s'more making materials, they even helped set up AV equipment we used for the show. On Saturday we had an earlier ceremony at 1pm so we as the couple could participate in the fun. We did everything from Axe throwing, archery and even some arts and crafts all organized by the Camp Campbell staff. The staff was so helpful throughout Saturday making the day stress free and perfect. On Sunday we had a soccer game on the back lawn followed by brunch in the lodge. It was a weekend to remember for us and our Guests. All of our guests who stayed in the cabins commented on how much they enjoyed the overall experience from the cabins, the food to the atmosphere. If you are looking to have fun all weekend long have a wedding at YMCA Camp Campbell!

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful outdoor location for our intimate wedding and were so glad we found Secret Garden Ceremonies. We booked the estate and the retreat and both locations are absolutely spectacular. We had our ceremony in the redwood grove and dinner reception on the estate lawn and Tiffani and her team went above and beyond to make sure that everything was executed beautifully. Our guests were in awe of how amazing the venue, retreat, ceremony, and entire experience was. Throughout the entire process, Tiffani provided us with great guidance and support, answered all our questions, and always gave honest and transparent input and feedback. We aren’t local to the Santa Cruz area and Tiffani had amazing recommendations for catering, floral, photography, local restaurants, and places for our guests to stay. Tiffani was also our officiant and worked with us to create a ceremony that fit our personalities perfectly and was exactly what we envisioned. The beauty and tranquility of the retreat really helped to set the stage for our entire wedding weekend. This beautiful cabin nestled in the redwoods provided the perfect lodging accommodations for ourselves and our wedding party; the bedrooms and living spaces were clean, comfortable, and spacious; and we so appreciated how Tiffani went above and beyond with all the little touches of home to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. To kick off the weekend, we hosted a welcome dinner on the outdoor deck under the redwoods for all our wedding guests. The Retreat was also a beautiful and bright getting ready space for our bridal party and one of the many redwood groves on the property provided an absolutely stunning backdrop for our first look and pre-ceremony photos. A huge thank you to Tiffani and her team for making our dream wedding a reality and for creating such an amazing experience for us and our family and friends. We can't recommend Secret Garden Ceremonies enough!

Saratoga Springs

4.8

Saratoga, CA
  • Up to 800 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $2,950

Imagine your perfect wedding day nestled among trees in a spectacular natural outdoor setting with fresh air, natural creeks and soaring redwoods. We provide a full-service wedding experience that you and your guests will enjoy from start to end. Our all-outdoor venue provides everything you could dream of - stunning natural beauty, convenient location and mouth-watering catering.

We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! Hastings House Garden Weddings

5.0

Half Moon Bay, CA
  • Up to 48 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $4,000

Hastings House Garden is a peaceful, enchanted spot, situated on a half-acre lot on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It is a beautiful garden space perfect for ceremonies, vow renewals and elopements. It is completely private. The reception is held at a nearby venue of your choosing. You are provided with a list of local receptions sites.

We found Hastings House by looking for venues that catered specifically to small weddings (20 people) and fell in love with the garden and seaside scenery. Linda was a pleasure to work with; she gave us great local recommendations for hair stylists/MUA, florals, officiants, and reception venues in addition to helping us work through the complicated details of our guest seating and staggered arrival times. The classical guitar music her husband played during the ceremony preparation really stepped up the already romantic air of the garden. We hired an external photographer since we wanted pictures of our reception as well, but Linda was so generous as to take a few stunning photos of our ceremony as a bonus. She also took the time to walk our photographer around the garden and offered advice for photo framing and staging. Linda and Richard were both very accommodating of our wedding vision and they played a huge part in making our special day every ounce of wonderful!

The Holly Farm

5.0

Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $57,000

This is a special place. The moment you walk through the welcoming rustic gate and past a quintessential redwood barn, you enter a quiet, peaceful world of bird-song, the splash of water falling, tropical plantings of every conceivable varietal, winding paths, and cottages tucked away among exotic palms, banana, and ancient cypress trees. Abundant oak trees and giant prickly-pear cacti stand sentinel. Wooden benches and comfortably-cushioned, bent willow chairs in secluded, shady oases offer places to sit, to rest and to absorb the quiet. This spectacular private estate is a sanctuary, nestled along the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. Family-owned and operated, this expansive Carmel jungle hideaway was created exclusively for destination weddings or for those looking for a relaxing, retreat-style experience. Your closest family and friends gather to spend 2-5 nights together at your own private oasis, a hidden Shangri-la- your home base for days of celebration of love. All are welcome.

My husband and I got married at Holly Farm in June 2024. We found the venue in October which gave us about 9 months to plan our wedding. Holly Farm made it relatively simple to piece together all the vendors due to their incredible and long lasting relationships. And while wedding planning is still stressful, what I didn't expect and was so very grateful for was feeling like I could hand everything over to them upon arrival for the wedding weekend and really feel like everything was in good hands (I did not have a wedding planner). I knew the venue was going to be beautiful but I did not expect to feel so at ease the entire weekend. I had the BEST time at my own wedding because the Holly Farm staff went above and beyond to take care of everything we could possibly need on our behalf. There was nothing they couldn't assist with. It was the most perfect weekend, and I could not recommend this venue more!
