We hired Winding Root Farm Florist for the flowers at our summer wedding and couldn't have been happier with their work! From our first meeting, they were so easy to communicate with and really listened to our vision. On the big day, the florals they created were simply beautiful - whimsical, fresh arrangements with locally-sourced flowers that perfectly captured the essence of our happy occasion. Not to mention, their prices were very budget-friendly, especially considering the high quality and uniqueness of their floral designs. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces they did for us added the perfect finishing touches to our venue's natural charm. We'd highly recommend Winding Root Farm to any couple looking to add a touch of rustic romance with florals that feel fresh-picked from an enchanted garden!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Monrovia, MD

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I recently had the pleasure of working with The Faux Bouquets for my wedding and couldn't be happier with their service. Their communication through email was great - they were fast, reliable, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. The faux flowers they provided looked and photographed just as if they were real, and the final product was stunning. I would highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple looking for beautiful, high-quality floral arrangements for their wedding.

5.0

  • Starts at $2,000

CPK Floral Designs provides modern fresh floral arrangements for special occasions, weddings, and sympathy. My favorite thing about floral design for weddings is bringing the Bride and Groom's vision during the planning process to fruition on their wedding day. Seeing the happiness that the flowers bring to the Happy Couple on their special day is the absolute best reward.

I am so beyond blessed I had Cynthia as a part of my wedding day this October. I was the most intimidated by the florals when going into wedding planning, but Cynthia made everything so easy. From the start she was so communicative and didn’t leave out any details! I appreciated how she worked with my budget and adjusted anything as needed. She took my vision and ideas and brought it to life! The day of the wedding Cynthia was so organized and did everything she could to make everything perfect at our venue. The florals were so special to me and I am so thankful I got the chance to work with her! She is so kind too! Many other vendors and family members remarked on her character and hard work. Brin's Posy

5.0

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Monrovia, MD for additional fees

Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.

I started planning my friend's wedding a month before it—yep, you heard it—a month! And it was not an elopement! Some family visa situations prompted that. Long story short, I found Caitlyn on Zola. She was extremely friendly and prompt. We had a call, and I sent her a few pictures of the type of flowers I wanted, and she nailed it. She did it cost-effectively. I had talked to other florists, but we got lucky, and Cailyn was available for our wedding in Nov! My brother has signed a contract with her for next year for his wedding! :)
