“When my husband and I started looking for our wedding venue, we had pretty high expectations. We are full-time wedding photographers and most of the venues we have been to are pretty cookie cutter and not at all what we wanted for our own wedding. You’ve got your barns, ballrooms, and industrial chic venues and then you’ve got something completely different like New Holland. New Holland has character, charm, and a one-off nature that was exactly what we were looking for. We knew that when we decided to have our wedding after being married already for ten years, it had to be at New Holland. Sophie and Reagan made the experience booking and hosting our wedding effortless. Our entire wedding celebration was unconventional, and because of that, it required a whole lot of coordination with activities and food for our guests that typical weddings don’t necessitate. Sophie and Reagan handled everything the day of the wedding perfectly. It was like one big choreographed dance. I know that without them, our wedding would have been a huge, disorganized embarrassment, and we are so grateful they helped make our day run smoothly so that we could enjoy it. Guests enter the Willow Room which is perfect for cocktail hours, small events or just as a welcoming lobby for the main event. The main event room, the Hawthorn Room, features warm wood walls and massive beams next to exposed brick with wonderful wood floors. It can host up to 250 guests for a seated reception and even more for a ceremony. Throw in an expansive gathering porch and this is the perfect spot for a rustic chic wedding.
