This 400 acre estate on the Hudson River on Lenni Lenape ancestral land, with its gently rolling hills, expansive view of the Catskills, and extraordinary sunsets, is in the heart of the Hudson Valley and only 90 minutes north of New York City. Rokeby is a designated Historic Landmark, still privately owned by the descendants of Alida Livington, for whom the house was built in 1815.

Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. It’s 90 minutes from New York City, and 30 minutes south of Hudson. It has hosted feasts for generations. Downstairs, intimate dining rooms and fireside lounges are ideal for parties of 8-10 people. Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.

Wow your guests with delicious catering and scenery to pair with any event: showers, holiday parties, birthdays, company events, reunions, or any reason to gather and party. SugarHouse offers on and off site catering for any occasion.

Akindale Farm is one of a kind. Situated on 310 picturesque acres on Quaker Hill in the center of the Hudson Valley, Akindale offers a backdrop of rolling hills, herds of stunning racehorses, incredible vistas, and a wealth of different locations on the property to suit your special event. Akindale is not a typical wedding venue; but it is an exceptional place for your wedding. Our core mission is to rescue and care for retired Thoroughbred racehorses and we have over 120 on site. We are working farm, not a manufactured showplace. Therein lies our natural beauty. We welcome all types of ceremonies, and respect individual creativity. As a nonprofit, we are able to fund our work with the horses through offering our spaces and as such, your location fee will be completely tax-deductible. Open Farmhouse is located on 300 acres of protected land in Redding, Connecticut. Just an hour and a half drive from New York City, it’s easily accessible by car or short shuttle from metro north. As part of a working farm, guests experience farm fresh produce, bucolic views and engagement with the land. Built in 1840, the historic Federal Style house sits at the center of the farm, with sweeping views of the surrounding fields and forests. Restored true to its era, it’s a grand yet inviting space for gatherings of 10 to 50 people. Five private bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, with simple furnishings and comfortable mattresses. Three shared bathrooms allow everyone to get ready for the day. All linens and towels provided. Our vision is to create a place that fosters connection to the land, strengthens community, and plants seeds for cultural renewal.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is housed in a magnificent Tudor-style stable, built in 1913. The unique setting of this historic site is beautiful, elegant and comfortable with an atmosphere to suit all tastes. It is the perfect place to plan your Wedding Ceremony and/or Reception. The museum is located in the historic downtown Goshen, New York. Its elegant and timeless Haughton Hall can accommodate up to 125 guests. For larger groups our beautifully manicured lawn and garden provide a perfect stage for a country wedding celebration! Whether you are planning a traditional or non-traditional affair, our staff at The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame will ensure your special day is memorable.

Emmerich Tree Farm is a working Christmas Tree Farm catering to the 'Choose-and-Cut' market in Warwick, NY, just 50 miles NW of the George Washington Bridge. Our property has been in the family since 1960, and the trees were planted in 2007. Our pavilion is 30 by 40 and was built in the summer of 2011 using beams harvested from the property. There are rustic accents added throughout, which help make the space unique. Articulating glass windows & doors on the South & East walls allow us to control temperature shifts, creating a unique indoor/outdoor space. Adjacent to the pavilion is a tented patio which is 60' x 30'. The tent is provided by our venue, includes hanging string lights, and has sides available upon request. The space allows room to seat up to 180 people using rectangular tables and up to 130 people using 5' round tables. We also have a Bridal tent built with rustic cedar trim. The tent is furnished with seating, full-length mirror and power.

Our mission of People Helping Horses Heal People is rooted in the care we provide for all of our rescued horses, including retired Thoroughbred racehorses.
