After having studied Art History at Dickinson College, Elizabeth went on to start her first company, an art and artist consulting firm in 2011. Pivoting her role as brand manager, creative director and marketing guru for DC area artists, Elizabeth focused on small businesses and start ups, and began applying her creative eye to photo styling and content creation. It was through the passion of styling and creating small moments of beauty that she found her love for love and desire to plan the weddings of the amazing couples that she works with.

My business started with decoration my own wedding 5 years ago. Since then I decorated numerous event both in US and Europe. I'm focused on creating modern natural arrangements using a sustainable approach. We are completely foam free, use as many local flowers as possible and constantly looking for more sustainable practices we can bring into our business.

After fifteen years in theatre and television production, Kate O’Donnell Diaz discovered a love for planning events but wanted to do so with a different approach from what other planners were taking. Kate desired to help couples cultivate weddings that truly reflected them and not just what bridal magazines, their future mother-in-law or high school frenemy said they just HAD to do. The literal and financial waste she witnessed going into weddings because of something “someone” said the couple HAD to have made Kate feel incredibly uncomfortable. Kate saw a need for a more eco-friendly approach to event planning.

Hot 8 Brass Band is a 2022 Grammy-winning New Orleans based brass band, whose sound draws on the traditional jazz heritage of New Orleans, alongside more modern styles including elements of funk, hip hop, rap, and its local variation, “bounce.” Transcending genres and trends, Hot 8 have performed & collaborated with the likes of Jon Batiste, Blind Boys of Alabama, Basement Jaxx, Alice Russell and George Ezra, provided live support for Mos Def, Lauryn Hill & Mary J Blige. Our 2nd album ‘The Life and Times Of...’ was nominated for a Grammy in 2013 and won a Grammy in 2022 for our work on ‘Album of the Year’ winner, Jon Batiste’s ‘WE ARE’.
