From start to finish, Black Bear Golf Club was a dream to work with for our 10/14/23 wedding. Lee was the greatest wedding coordinator a couple could ask for. She dished out helpful advice and suggestions, answered all our questions, and was warm and friendly every step of the way. She was a source of calm on wedding weekend and we're so grateful for her expertise. The food at Black Bear is generous and delicious. Couples have so many tasty options to choose from and your guests will not leave hungry. The cake that Black Bear supplies from Calandra's is equally incredible. The reception area is spacious -- there's two bars, ample seating, and a large dance floor. The room for cocktail hour is a nice inside/outside space, with enough room for guests to spread out, enjoy each other's company, and take in the scenery. It poured on our wedding day, so we weren't able to use the outside ceremony area, but the staff did an incredible job setting up inside -- the extra decorations and touches they added made it feel just as beautiful. If you get married in fall like we did, prepare to be wowed but all of the pumpkins, gourds, mums, and harvest vibes. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the mountains -- our guests couldn't believe how breathtaking they were as the fog rolled in, and the gentle wisps of foliage sprinkled within. Net/net: Black Bear is affordable in terms of the wedding industry; the food is delicious and bountiful; the scenery is beautiful; and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been replaying this wonderful day in my head endless since the big day. THANK YOU for everything!

My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!

We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Skyview. From the moment we toured the venue, our breath was taken away with the majestic scenic views of the Appalachia. Our decision was further cemented when we learned everything that was included in their wedding package, an incredible value that beat all of the other venues we visited by a significant margin. We don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly they could double their rates and it'd still be worth it. The support from the staff at Skyview (specifically Jenn, Hildegaard, and Ivan) both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding was prompt, thoughtful, and comprehensive. We have never gotten married before but we can't imagine working with a more professional staff that made our planning unbelievably seamless and stress-free. Cheryl was so easy to work with. Her communication was great and timely all before my special day. I felt like I never had a worry because my questions were always answered before the day ended. During the rehearsal, she was able to answer all my questions and give some pointers, which was super helpful to make our day go smoothly. I suggest you take her advice. She showed her confidence in what she does best, which only made me feel less nervous about everything going on. She and her staff were so friendly at the rehearsal dinner, specially with the special requests I had for a few of my guests. Our wedding went on without a hiccup. Her staff decorated my tables exactly how I wanted. She met with my photographer to show the grounds for photo options. She was readily available in moments and was on point with the schedule of events on my day. The food was great and it seemed like things went seamlessly. She came to one more rescue for our friends and family. The following day, we did not anticipate so many of our friends and family wanted to leisurely join us for dinner. She was able to set us up in a space to accommodate us at the last minute. Cheryl was so easy to work with throughout the planning process. Her experience and organization is paramount. She made us feel comfortable and confident with our plans. Our family and friends had a blast at the party and the grounds that weekend. Many said they would return, including us.

I recently hosted my wedding at The Skylands Manor and was absolutely blown away. From the moment of arrival, the level of care we received from the staff was warming. Maitre'd Linda went above and beyond to create the most seamless day possible. From the cocktail hour to the dinner reception, the food was absolutely DELISH! If you have the opportunity take advantage of the fresh mozzarella station. Beautiful presentation and unique fresh pulled mozzarella. I highly recommend Frungillo Hospitality Group as a catering vendor. There are not enough kind words and warm thanks I would give them!

Our wedding was this past September, and it was everything we could’ve asked for and more. Tricia and Marty both made it so easy during the entire process from booking and planning to the day of, they were so helpful, and took care of everything for us. The day flowed so smoothly with absolutely no issues whatsoever. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves, and her and her crew ( who were also incredible!) handled everything for us and made for an amazing night. The landscape, flowers and decorations were beautiful, made for some very very nice pictures! We got a nothing but positive feedback about the location, the views, the food, everything. the bridal suite was perfect to get ready and hide in prior to the ceremony. This is not your standard wedding venue that handles multiple events at a time and confines its guests to the reception hall or at best to a small outdoor space. The is the ultimate splendor of having an entire estate and staff dedicated to your intimate experience. My experience: a quintessential gift that paired with the thoughtful favor memorialized the event. As we drove up to the gated 1920’s estate overlooking the lake and manicured landscape budded with mature trees surrounding the landmark Spanish colonial which beckoned us in, Rushmore “had us at hello.” This home spoke to us. Beyond the craftsmanship and its meandering outdoor spaces, we felt drawn to this majestic property. “I was within and without” is how I would describe it ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby.. Blending into to the historical landscape, our wedding theme was simply Gatsby. "Can't repeat the past? Why of course you can!". This magical place transported us and our guests back to the lavish roaring period of a happy by gone era. How appropriate a medicine for today when we all seek an opportunity to unite in a safe social gathering. What better way to splendor the outdoors over many acres of pure solitude for you and your special guests alone to explore. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves was gratifying. All our guests told me how much fun they had. Thanks to Russell, Karen and Beth for making our event all the more magical and flawless. They didn’t miss a beat. The outdoor after party by the lake Russell set for us and some of our guests with a bon fire was the topper of the evening. It was lovely strolling around the lake after dinner. Russell and team equipped us with a customized service and were gracious with accommodating our special needs. One of which was by default an unforgettable personal experience beyond our dreams - a portal to a happier time. Beth was a super wedding planner and Karen helped with setting the stage for my Gatsby old Hollywood décor in the reception. Another topper to this event was the most decadent catering of Pamela’s Traveling Feast. She prepared the perfect menu and with varying serving stations to satisfy every palette. The wedding cake was incredible, nothing of this world. I cannot describe how amazing the wedding cake was, but I’ve never tasted anything like it. Paired with the homemade pies were simply to die for. All the food she prepared was of the same caliber, simply divine. Russell recommended Pamela who is top on their list of caterers no doubt. We were fortunate to have Pamela and I can’t tell you how many compliments I received from our guests on her culinary talents! She is a must have! No one else can possibly compare! Reverend Jim Rooney also recommended by Rushmore was truly amazing and personable who made us feel extra special. When we were saying our vows as Christian looked at me, “it was like all women want to be looked at by a man.” Then he kissed me “and the incarnation was complete.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. All these elements collided like the stars and together created an unforgettable moment in time that is now bound to this magical place. I will never forget our experience at Rushmore. If you are looking for the most incredible experience for your wedding, its Rushmore. I hopeful, dreaming grandly sought a special place to hold my wedding and I landed it at the Rushmore Estates.

We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. I cannot day enough good things about Mountainville manor. We had an elopement ceremony and pictures on the property. We could not have been happier and luckier to have found this venue. The whole process was simple and although it was an elopement with just the two of us, the owner Lauren, made it feel so special. The bouquet that was included in the elopement package was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The grounds are immaculately kept w beautiful landscaping. The newly remodeled interior is as beautiful. There is a beautiful bridal and grooms room. The bride room includes a full bathroom w a shower. The owner, Lauren was very attentive and made sure we had water and a bite to eat as well as offering to go to the store in the event we forgot something. She was extremely accommodating and and made sure our vision was executed and really wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

I worked with Kristian, and she was awesome. Answered all questions very quickly, and was very accommodating throughout the planning process. Our day was beyond amazing. If there were issues, I had no idea. I attended my own cocktail hour, ate dinner, danced the night away, and was able to enjoy myself in all the ways people tell you that you can’t as a bride. This is without a wedding planner, as well. At DCI, they truly are a one stop shop, and you can have the perfect day without the hassle of coordinating a bunch of vendors yourself since many of them (preferred and nonpreferred) are accustomed to the venue. We used their preferred florist, Fleurs Divine, and I have to recommend Monika within this review as well. She is knowledgeable, professional and makes your vision (and Pinterest board) a reality unlike anything you could believe. I honestly wasn’t necessarily hyped over flowers, but the designs she created will remain one my favorite memories from my wedding day. To any future bride considering DCI, do yourself the biggest favor and book it.

My guests were in awe walking into this venue! It is absolutely breathtaking both inside and out. Our ceremony was in the garden and everyone raved about the innate beauty. The staff went fully above and beyond to make sure we had an incredibly special day. The food for cocktail hour and dinner was complimented non stop! I also was told service was impeccable and guests never waited for any drinks! If there were any hiccups on the day I (the bride) was never made aware because the Meadow Wood team took care of everything. If I had to do it all over, this is 100% the first thing I’d book! There aren't enough words we can write, or praises we can sing about our wedding experience at The Powelton Club, and in particular, our amazing wedding planner Rebecca. Rebecca worked with us to ensure that every aspect was thoughtfully laid out and discussed well ahead of time, in spite of us having less than 6 months to plan, and having some family health challenges besides. She took the burden on herself to give us peace of mind leading up to and the day of the wedding. In addition, when it started snowing heavily, her staff worked with me on very short notice to get our guests fed, including some that had to leave right as the reception started. We couldn't have asked for a better venue, better food, and most importantly, a better wedding planner to be on our side for our wonderful, but also insanely challenging wedding day. We would not hesitate to recommend The Powelton Club for your wedding, big or small. I'd do it all over again there if given the chance!

We received so many compliments on how AMAZING the food was for our wedding, and we felt the same way during our tasting. Ashley and the chef, who I believe is her husband, go above and beyond to ensure the food quality is exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the inside of the venue was! The building is absolutely stunning, and it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our photos. One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception and seeing our family and friends all around the venue, especially upstairs on the second floor—it was such a cool, unique experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful for their hard work. The pricing is also fantastic—it’s straightforward, includes so much, and is truly a great value for what you get. Even though we traveled from outside of Philadelphia, I’m originally from the Pittston area, and it was well worth the trip! I would absolutely book this venue again for future events if I’m having them in the area. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. If you want an unforgettable wedding experience with amazing food, a beautiful setting, and fantastic staff, The Anthracite Center is the place to be!

Dreams really do come true at the Tides!The best thing you can do is book your wedding there. From the day we booked and leading up to our big day Michael was very forthcoming and helpful. He was very responsive, followed up on all my questions and made sure we felt supported. The venue itself looks out of a fairytale. They are in a rural location so the greenery as you drive up is beautiful. The inside looks akin to a palace with many rooms and a beautiful lobby.  You don't even have to decorate too much because the place itself is so elegant and classy. The garden is soooo breathtaking. They have 2 ceremony spaces outside, beautiful flowers and greenery. Plus it's so big! You get a lot of bang for your buck. I didn't hire a day of coordinator and I basically planned everything myself with the bridal party, but the Maitre D and venue staff were very instrumental in making sure our event ran smoothly. I was super nervous thinking about the day of. I planned everything out but couldn't leave my seat because hello, I'm the bride lol. I was getting ready all morning.  But thanks to our Maitre D Alberto, the event flower perfectly. He kept us on time. Helped get the bridal party together. He literally went above and beyond. It's so incredible just thinking back to it. I know some venues are hands off. But the staff was just so dedicated to making our every request happen if possible. Thanks to Alberto, our wedding day went by beautifully without any hitch or drama. It's unbelievable because I heard there is always some kind of issue the day of. We paid for a 6am opening so me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the venue. Michael set up a wonderful breakfast in the bridal suite it was like being home! We were so comfortable and we're ready on time for our 11am start. Truly wonderful. We had the small bridal suite so to our small party but it was super nice and a great set up for getting ready! The food and the drinks were to die for. First of all, the cocktail hour was loaded with so much food! Not only do they include a variety of delicious hor'devours. You get to choose from from different entrees and stations. The guest are still raving about it a month later! Everything was excellent. From the presentation to the quality of the meals, it was the best wedding food I've ever had. When the reception came all the guests were too stuffed for their reception entrees! My cake came from David's Custom Cakes, their partner. I got the dulce de leche filling and let me tell you it was so rich! I'm definitely coming back the next time I need a cake! Honestly I am a happy bride. I have no regrets, in fact it was even better than I imagined! Don't hesitate to book them, you will not regret it!

If you are looking for a perfect wedding venue, look no further, Felina is it! From the moment that my fiancé and I toured the venue we knew that we had to have our wedding there. Carissa was the absolute best. Every single question that we asked, she had an answer to. She was extremely responsive and in the days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day she and her team made our day memorable. We are weeks out from our wedding and our guests are still raving about how good the food, drinks, and service was at Felina. The venue is gorgeous with the vault and floating chandelier. There are so many good spots to take gorgeous pictures. There are 2 bars and the drinks kept flowing! If you are worried about the ceremony and reception being in the same place, don’t stress! They flipped the room in 42 min flat and as our guests were eating and drinking on the mezzanine during cocktail hour. Our guests didn’t even notice the room flip. It was also nice that on the day of our wedding the Felina rooftop was open to the public. So after the reception our guests could go to the roof to buy their own drinks and enjoy the view of Ridgewood. I couldn’t be more happy with picking Felina to have our ceremony and reception and if I had to, I’d pick them 100 more times. I was one of few original wedding photographers to capture Abbey Inn's grand opening commercial photo shoot. I was extremely impressed by not only the polite construction and staff at the facility, but also how they had EVERYTHING figured out for large scale weddings and events to take place at their location. They have stunning-luxury hotel rooms & suites, a restaurant, bar and lounge space, gorgeous views of the Hudson valley, a cathedral -aesthetic ceremony and reception hall, lush gardens and lawns, plenty of parking, JUST A PERFECT SPOT for weddings and events so travel isn't an issue. ONE STOP SHOP :D I highly recommend this wedding venue!

I don’t even know where to begin to explain how absolutely amazing the Grand was for the best night of our lives. We attended a wedding for close friends here two years ago, immediately fell in love with the Grand and knew this was where we wanted to get married. Fast forward to our engagement; from the moment we first reached out, our Maitre D Sal and his team were always professional, extremely friendly, and timely in all of their communications, providing us with accurate information every step of the way. The quality of their work was simply beautiful - the venue itself was clean, modern, and elegantly appointed, creating the perfect backdrop for our special day. Sal, Manny, Evelina and the entire team at The Grand went above and beyond to ensure our wedding ran smoothly, and our guests have been raving for days about the massive cocktail hour, the exceptional quality of the food, and the stunning ballroom and all other facilities. We have had a bunch of friends and family reach out to tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. The attention to detail is simply unmatched. We have been to at least 20 weddings and cannot compare the Grand to anything else in the tri-state area. We really could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage. We loved having our wedding at Montdale Country Club! Their communication was always fast and efficient over text, which made planning a breeze. The venue itself was simply gorgeous, with a spacious patio and gazebo overlooking the lake that made for beautiful photos and an unforgettable reception. The staff helped set up and take down decorations, and provided excellent customer service to us and our guests throughout the event. The food was delicious - all our guests were raving about it! Our guests also could not stop talking about what an amazing wedding it was. Between the gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and helpful staff, Montdale really helped make our wedding day special and run so smoothly. We highly recommend them for any couple's big day!

I simply cannot say enough in praise of il Tulipano. In July 2024 we held our wedding, and we could not have asked or prayed for better than what we were given! We first met Chef Mario in early 2023 while we were researching venues and cost. We toured approximately 8 -10 venues, and we corresponded with several venues online. But our hearts and minds could not stop thinking about il Tulipano. We were in love with Chef Mario’s passion for what he does and infectious personality. He truly is the best! Not only was the venue a great price, but we felt honored to be a part of the il Tulipano family! We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The setting was stunning, the food incredibly delicious, and the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect! Our guest was blown away at how beautiful everything was. Chef Mario and his staff never hesitated to provide guidance, help and support before and during our wedding. Appetizers were so good that they were mistaken for the dinner but were surpassed by the actual main entree. The dessert room was the showstopper! We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the Park Savoy - the venue and the staff are absolutely incredible. Not only are the grounds stunning, not to mention you have the entire venue to yourself for the duration of your event, but the staff constantly tends to the bride and groom’s every need AS WELL as ensuring all guests are taken care of. The food is amazing and there is so much of it between cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. It is no exaggeration to say that there is something for everyone - No one will be leaving with empty bellies! There are also so many options for those who have dietary restrictions. We got nothing but rave reviews. The staff ensures that everything goes to plan, you absolutely do not need a wedding coordinator if you get married here. As the bride at the Park Savoy, I can say I actually felt like royalty or the first lady on wedding day, but they also take care of you during the entire planning process to keep you organized. Not only do the staff provide top notch service, but they’re all so kind, you walk out of there feeling like friends. The Park Savoy runs a very well-oiled machine, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to get married at this beautiful estate.

From the moment we first visited Biagio's and The Terrace, we were both so impressed by the reception room as well as Athena, who happened to show us around the property. Athena also filled us in on all the details regarding a wedding there. She was nothing but attentive, responsive, and easy-to-work-with during the entire process. The venue itself exceeded our expectations - the huge dance floor, 2 full bars inside the main ballroom and the rooftop cocktail hour were all key in bringing the party together! The food is top notch, which was our absolute number 1 priority. Everything went so smoothly, from scheduling our first visit, to picking up the leftover cake and other items we left behind after the wedding. You can tell this is a family-run business, as each and every person we interacted with was so helpful and genuine. They clearly take a lot of pride in making couples' wedding days truly special. Exceeded my expectations! From the very start of the whole process, Vincent put our minds at ease. He is so responsive and helpful the whole way through. The absolute best there is!!! Then Our matre d, Lauren, what can I say? Amazing!!!! She took care of everything and made the night so seem less. My bridal attendant helped bustle my dress and made sure everyone was fed. She even came on the dance floor to help in a pinch to re bustle my dress. The staff was amazing and guests got to choose their meals then, total score!
