We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

Greenock Manor is a 150 year old Farm house with towering giant trees (they are grand old grandpa's and we love them!) The Manor is a beautiful restored traditional American Victorian style farm house with a delightful wrap around balcony. We aim at a homely feel for our bridal families to reduce stress. We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.

Longacre boasts over 2 acres of boxwood and garden spaces to create a beautiful outdoor and English Garden wedding scene. We have several locations within the grounds for receptions and ceremonies to accommodate 20 to 200 guests. The Gazebo works as both a great wedding arch with the fountain area perfect for reception gathering of a Tudor house backdrop to your ceremony. Grounds can be rented for the afternoon or the entire weekend, including the entire house and Carriage House for your caterer and wedding ready space. MeadowCroft Farm has been a working family farm for 7 generations. Located just outside of Staunton, Virginia in the rural community of Swoope (pronounced Swope). It is named after Jacob Swoope, the first mayor of Staunton and a land developer in the late 1700s. MeadowCroft Farm is situated in southwestern Augusta County, in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are just a short five-mile drive from the Interstate I-81 and I-64 Staunton bypass. The renovations and updates to the adjoining cabins were completed in 2018. The Inn at MeadowCroft opened to delight guests with this beautiful, historic property. Our rooms are named after members of the Swoope family in keeping with the history of the inn and the local area. Our Honorable Jacob Swoope suite is in keeping with someone of the first mayor of Staunton’s status.

The Vinton War Memorial is owned and operated by the Town of Vinton and often hosts public events at the venue. The Vinton War Memorial was originally conceived as the centerpiece of an 11.5-acre park that could be enjoyed by the community while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country during World War II. The park was completed in 1946 and the two-story brick building known as the Vinton War Memorial was dedicated and opened to the public on August 20, 1948. Initially, it included the town's library, small meeting rooms, and the Dogwood Ballroom.

The Home and Farm have been passed down through 8 generations of the Miller family. In 1827, John Miller Sr. purchased the land from Francis Thornton and built a modest family home with his son, “Poplar John”. The simple rectangular structure was built from bricks fired on the bank of the Thornton River and trees harvested from nearby Turkey Mountain. Sixty years later, John Byron made substantial additions including the present-day Owner’s Suite, Queen’s Room, and sitting porches.
