Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. A beautiful garden, rocking chairs, and porch swings on the generous wrap-around veranda add to your journey back in time.

This magnificent Georgian-style home was built in 1914 for Cornelius Vanderbilt Truitt, a financier, and businessperson, by P. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Upstairs Atlanta is a raw space with industrial and rustic finishes that can be tailored to fit the style or theme of any event. The open space has an arched concrete ceiling anchored by vaulted skylight windows with white brick and concrete floors throughout. The building also features an upstairs cocktail lounge, a large covered patio flanking the reception space and a lower level outdoor terrace. With so many spaces available the possibilities for entertaining your guests are only limited by your imagination.

1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

The Horse Park was built for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Equestrian events and first ever mountain biking course in an Olympics. It is one of very few venues built for an Olympics that still operates in its original intent.
