Our contemporary event venue in Austin TX on a ranch offers two separate indoor airconditioned spaces, and vast unique covered & encloseable outdoor patios, to host up to 300 guests in all weather. In addition to these main spaces, we provide a variety of additional rooms designed to enhance the functionality and versatility of our venue.

St. John Studios is a multifunctional warehouse in North Austin suitable for production rentals, weddings, dinner parties, music performances, and other private events. The space is comprised of a series of rooms and outdoor spaces featuring salvaged wood, concrete floors, and high ceilings. The studio houses a large main hall, two bar areas, a loft and two photography/video studio spaces. Most renters mix and match depending on the needs of their events. Onsite parking available up to 40 cars, as well as close proximity to Austin MetroRail.

Hi! M’Kensie here, the younger counterpart of this mother-daughter duo and also just so happen to be much of the story behind how the barn came to be. I was in my final year of college and planning a wedding for the Summer of 2012. I was so very blessed to grow up on our family farm, with a dad who loves to build things and who wanted to make all my Pinterest dreams come true. So as wedding planning began, construction started going up, and PLOT TWIST, the groom and I broke up…..that’s when our family realized God had much bigger plans for the barn. So with a little more time to dream, and much more time for construction, Lone Oak Barn was born. My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Every couple, every family, every vendor, non-profit, and company we’ve hosted has become part of the Lone Oak Family. Our hope is that you’ll come on in, stay awhile, and most importantly, come back and see us.

Windy Knoll is our family ranch. When my husband and I got engaged, we wanted nothing more than to get married at Windy Knoll. Rather than rent a tent for the occasion, my mom decided to build a wedding venue! The wood beams that make up the bones of the Wedding Barn were originally erected in the 1840s in Maryland. The original barn was the site of several battles during the Civil War, partially burned down, and rebuilt in the 1860s. A company called Heritage Restorations disassembled the beams and transported them all the way to Round Top, where they were reassembled and turned into the Wedding Barn.

The “Corn Crib” at Tank Town, was built in the 1950s to store drying ears of corn and converted into a grain elevator when flowable grain changed the industry. Summers Mill Retreat and Conference center has been built on a rich history. When it was founded in 1998 by Paul and Jane Meyer, they wanted "this place to be a ministry and to lead with a servant’s heart based on Christian values and principles." The name of our retreat center goes back to the grist mill built by John Myers in the spring of 1866. Business was good and within a year, he added a saw mill and a cotton gin. When John Myers died, it passed in rapid succession through the hands of Robert A. Myers, Douglas McKenzie, and D.C. Summers. Summers installed a crossroads store and secured a post office under the name of Summers Mill.
