“Hiring Mike as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made!! From our first meeting, Mike was professional and friendly, providing us with a lot of information and answering all of our questions. After we booked with him, he set up an easy-to-use app for us to select our songs, write notes about the reception, and communicate any special instructions. It helped us keep track of what to prepare and how to plan the timeline of our day since we didn't have a wedding planner. Mike also came to an in person meeting with our venue so he could be prepared for the wedding day, and he was completely set up and ready when we arrived for cocktail hour and dinner. The wedding day could not have gone better: not only was Mike on point with all the music choices we made, he created an excellent vibe for our guests. We had a lot of families with young adults and older parents, and Mike played music that appealed to both crowds. His emcee skills are excellent, and he was flexible with a few adjustments to the timeline throughout the night. Mike’s son JC worked our photobooth, and he was just as professional and friendly. “We had an amazing experience working with Jamie (DJ Casanova) for our wedding in October 2022 (been meaning to write a review for so long)! Jamie was very professional throughout the whole planning process. We actually hired him in 2020 but we had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid (he was very flexible and made the postponement process very smooth). We met virtually/over the phone a few times and he assured us he was available to meet as many times as we'd like. Closer to our wedding date, we had a more formal meeting where we went through the timeline of the whole reception detail by detail. He had a form where we put in all the information, which showed he was experienced at the job. I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to be played at our reception and he was super easy-going about it and assured us that he was there to implement our vision. On our actual wedding day, everything went as planned and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined! I love to dance and so do many of our guests, and thanks to Jamie, the dance floor was never empty even for one second! He knew how to read the room and change the music accordingly. Even after our wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fun the party was! In sum, I highly recommend Jamie and already have recommended him to some friends looking to get married soon!
