My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Over the years it had been home to several businesses, the last was Alvin hardware. So Now as new business owners, Doretha & Stephanie hope The Venue on Sealy will continue to serve the community just as the businesses in the past did.
