“Reminiscing now, 2 1/2 years later, our wedding day, is a bit of a blur, but every time I open Jennifer’s gorgeous collection, her work brings me right back to the day. She set my husband and me at ease, and captured beautiful moments of love, spontaneous laughter, and our obvious connection to one another. Even the wedding party and family picture taking went smoothly, which was impressive with our eclectic group! During a wedding, so much can seem out of control, and Jennifer’s calm and expertise kept me from the bridal freak out I know I neared several times. Both the indoor and outdoor photography turned out beautifully. I loved her composition choices for our details, such as the rings and my wedding dress. She did well to capture the beauty of our outdoor venue even in our couples pictures, which was important to us. We chose the setting of Flathead Lake with mountains views very specifically. Her work doesn’t just capture a pretty moment, but prompts us to retell and relive the story of why we were laughing, and how special that first look was, and how genuine the smiles and tears were. She managed to not just photograph our day, but she told our story. “I contacted Katie on a Wednesday for a last minute elopement happening that Saturday. Even though she already had personal plans for the day, she cleared her schedule to capture our Wedding Day. I told her where we were planning on getting married because we wanted a view of the mountains in the photos. She made some phone calls and secured us a way better location with stunning views of the mountains. She asked about details on our wedding day and she could clearly tell I didn’t have much planned as I didn’t even have a dress yet. Katie went out of her way and helped me find the most gorgeous dress. Aleks did an amazing job of capturing the vibe of our day, and all of our friends and families raved about how fantastic the photos were. A friend told us he and his wife decided one of our photos was the best wedding photo he had ever seen. We were exhausted the day of the wedding and you cannot tell in our photos. Aleks was also so great to work with -- she was kind, thoughtful, and so fun. You spend so much time with your photographer on your wedding day, and Aleks is definitely the person you want to be spending time with. She went above and beyond to make our photos and our experience fantastic.
