Conestoga House & Gardens is a historic wedding venue located in Lancaster, PA. The manor was originally owned by Christian Hershey, of the chocolate family, who built the house in the 1700s. During the 18th century, it served as a tavern on the Conestoga wagon trade. In the mid-19th century it became an inn and hosted numerous travelers. Purchased by James Hale & Louise McClure Steinman in 1927, it was fully renovated and restored in 1930 by architect Frank J. Everts. Among the venue’s many visitors was the great-nephew of Edgar Allan Poe. Today, the estate abounds with natural beauty, where it boasts 3,300 varieties of annual flowers, 160 perennials, 160 rose bushes, and 400 tropical plants. From a working dairy farm to a vibrant event venue, The Barn at Grimmel Farms boasts a rich history. Established in 1908, the Grimmel family has farmed the land for over a century. In 2002, the iconic barn transformed from hay storage to a beloved event space, hosting family gatherings and welcoming new memories. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Camp Oak Hill offers its guests exclusive use of the entire Camp Oak Hill property and all indoor and outdoor rental facilities. Couples that book Camp Oak Hill for at least two nights may hold Wedding ceremonies and receptions as part of their camping experience. Wedding ceremonies may be held anywhere on Camp Oak Hill property, but couples typically take advantage of the Williamson Amphitheater in the woods. The 120-140 seat amphitheater is beautifully set under a canopy of trees.
