“You will not regret having your event here! Duneland falls really embodies the name ' One Stop Shop'! I had the pleasure of experiencing the service of duneland falls for my event. I had my Quinceañera here and we were able to get all linens, centerpieces, dinner, dessert and more for one price! It is still something that I get compliments on as if it were yesterday!( it was years ago) I had the most stunning decorations and the entire venue was amazing. The food was greats!”

“Ok! I intend to be VERY HONEST about all my reviews bc I think vendor match is the most essential thing & for everyone. And, I don't even have the words for this one, so multiply everything I'm saying by 120. LM Studio, and Paulette specifically, was the best part of our wedding point blank period. They hit on all accords with us and our guests, and the worst part of the whole occasion is that I can't go back there on the regular and just hang out. MULTIPLE GUESTS including my father, with a lifetime of weddings, said the food was not just good BUT THE BEST WEDDING FOOD they have ever had. There wasn't a single complaint. And we agree just delicious. Scenery vibes - you're not going to do better. From the wall art/decor pierces, paint, textures, fabrics, colors, SO MUCH VELVET - there's so much to see. Guests also reported widely "there's not a single place in this venue that isn't ideal for a photo opp. It was just beautiful and we really wanted something that carried some weight decor wise. This place was my perfect match. Aesthetically, it's millions of bucks. I loved every part of it and going there, taking pictures, and just enjoying the luxury throughout the planning process was also such a joy. There's really so much more I could rave on for days about but the most important thing for couples to know is about Paulette who runs Events and Catering. The best way to sum it up is I want to be friends with Paulette. She made me feel important, like a priority, and really cared for from the proposal process until we said good night at the wedding. She is a gem and such a charismatic pleasure to be around. The people you hire to be around you on this day cannot be undervalued! They are the glue to hold everything together. Paulette worked with us on everything from vision to budget, she is so organized, so everything. I just cannot. I actually intended to write this review the day after my wedding because I love her so much, but still I don't even have the words to really convey the impression she left on us. LM gave me an even more perfect vision of everything I prayed for. Our wedding was PERFECT, and I know people don't say that a lot. Of course, there were hiccups but the things that were so perfect like everything at LM outweighed everything else. I wouldn't do anything differently in this part of the planning. Everyone in Chicago who vibes with the space should get married there. The pics are worth it enough if all the didn't make an impression. It really was a 10/10 and Paulette gave 100/10. It's also one of the last places where you feel good about what you're getting for what you're paying for... which we all learn is too rare in the wedding industry. The food and service was amazing, we had a cocktail area near the bar plus the private dining room, which was perfect. The guests were so engaged, and there were so many compliments about the food and the service. There were a few dietary restrictions and guests were able to be accommodated so easily! “The Library and The Stacks are two of the most stunning and unique places in Chicago for a wedding or special event. The Library is so classic Chicago with and The Stacks is such a cool, modern space...and they work together so well for events! I don't know where else you can have an event surrounded by thousands of historic law books and amazing architecture. Plus you get amazing views of the city out of every window! Aurieann and her team are so fun and easy to work with that I wish we did all of our events here! They are detailed, organized, and incredibly helpful with recommendations about how to best utilize the space for each event. They make the planning process fun for the clients and give the vendors the space and resources they need to do incredible work for the clients. They are truly event partners in every sense of the word and treat each and every event with the care and attention it deserves to make sure the clients have the best experience possible. If you can't tell from my review this venue comes with the highest recommendation I could give! If you are even considering this venue do yourself a favor and call Aurieann to setup a tour to see it in person!”

“We had a small rehearsal dinner, followed by a big welcome party on the river for over 200 guests from 20 different states. This is a perfect location for people that have never been to Chicago and those that are locals, because the view of the river and the buildings is absolutely stunning. They have the biggest covered outdoor patio in the city, and it was a perfect setting for our guests. From the dinner food to the appetizers and cocktails, every single detail was excellent. We couldn't believe how kind the staff was, from the person that we first interacted with to every bartender. They were flexible and really cared about making this experience enjoyable and unique for our guests, and wow, they delivered! We are so thankful for what your team put together for us. “Hangout Lighting was a fantastic choice for our wedding reception venue. Jen's communication throughout the planning process was extremely prompt and helpful. I was looking for a space that was already partially decorated and set up, one that had some indoor and outdoor space, as well as one that allowed us to bring in any vendors of our choosing. Hangout Lighting delivered on all these points. We loved the lighting (of course!) and that the beautiful farmhouse tables and chairs were already perfectly in place. Jen offered a lot of flexibility in the timing of the day as well, so we could choose the number of hours that fit our event. I wish we could have celebrated past the 10pm last call and, looking back, might have started our event earlier in the evening to have more time. But all of the rules and guidance were extremely well communicated ahead of time, so we knew what we were getting into. The free street parking was plentiful, and the location worked great for us. Very glad we were able to celebrate our wedding at Hangout Lighting during the first year that they were hosting events in the space, as I think we got a great deal as well, having compared prices with some similar places in the area. “In the last few months, the Pinstripes team was wonderful to work with and helped accommodate our changes in plans with COVID. Their staff is fun, energetic, and experts in event planning. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes this year in the cocktail room down by the beautiful river and we cannot wait to host our larger reception next year in the ballroom. The location (right next to Navy Pier) is optimal and the outside/inside flexibility was greatly appreciated. During and after our rehearsal dinner, our guests thanked us several times for the delicious food at Pinstripes. The event planning team has been great to work with --through tastings, room setup, and again, re-planning our entire event with COVID. If you're looking for a great location, delicious food, a rustic setup on the river, and a great planning team, look no further! Wedding planning is already quite time consuming and a few Pinstripes below alleviated so many of our stresses throughout: Jessica Randel has been very responsive and proactive throughout her time with us--we had to make significant changes to our plans due to COVID and she helped bring our new vision (keeping everyone as safe as possible while maximizing our rehearsal dinner experience). She's helped us change our 150 person wedding to an intimate rehearsal dinner gathering outside, expertly advised us on various dinner services and setup, helped us safely manage new Chicago COVID rules (that changed week to week), and during the week of she kept us abreast of the weather and proactively guided us into a stress-free scenario. We cannot wait to work with her next year as we reschedule our big wedding reception in the downstairs ballroom. My husband and I also cannot thank Sherry Kenny, Diana Grodecki, and Jeremy Hopkins enough for the excellent expertise and service-driven customer experience. Sherry, at Oakbrook Pinstripes, provided us invaluable advice as we were navigating our COVID change in plans and managing through the changing circumstances in Chicago. Diana worked with us during the early phases, making our wedding tasting and early planning experience with my family a blast. At our rehearsal dinner, Jeremy ensured that every one of our guests received the top food and drink service, that his staff took precautionary measures, and that everyone had a phenomenal time. These efforts on your wedding weekend make a huge difference and we couldn’t have been more happy with our rehearsal dinner evening. We cant wait to finalize our big wedding reception plans with them in 2021 and return for another great experience.”

“Review: If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind beautiful historic venue for an unique and special event in Chicago, the search is over. Book Stan Mansion now!!! We could not imagine or have chosen a better venue for our wedding. We live out of state but wanted to get married in Chicago for several reasons - after a trip we took just to look at several venues we had identified online it was such an easy choice for us to go with Stan Mansion. Cera Stan, the visionary owner, met with us and our families and told us all about her incredible story with the historic building - built in 1920s as a Masonic Lodge. The space is absolutely gorgeous and speaks for itself but we particularly loved how we were able to do everything onsite - getting ready, photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception - everything has a home at Stan Mansion and a beautiful, well-appointed one at that. We were impressed with their thoughtful and competitive pricing and the care and attention we were shown before we ever signed a contract - even sharing a list of favored vendors which was a guiding hand for us throughout our planning process. Cera gave us valuable advice at that first meeting about planning a wedding that rang in our ears throughout the entire year leading up to our big day. The other major appeal for us with SM was our incredible Wedding Coordinator, Aleya. We knew we wanted help with our planning process, but to have that be someone who works full time for the venue was invaluable. Aleya worked long distance with us for months via zoom, phone, and in-person meetings planned around our other travel to Chicago to assist in whatever way she could to help keep us on track. I plan events regularly as a part of my job and was excited to do the bulk of the planning of our wedding with my family, but Aleya’s knowledge of the venue and area, her strong relationship with vendors, her creative eye, passion for events, calming aura, and genuine love for her job shine through in everything she does. She is a gem and a huge part of why the venue is so phenomonal, but everyone we met who works there - Miguel, Monica, Cera’s husband Drago - warm, wonderful, lovely humans. At The Stan Mansion we were able to plan a bespoke, creative, seamless and well-run event that didn’t feel cookie-cutter or like any wedding we had been to before. Our guests were a mix of local Chicagoans and out-of-towners and they all raved about the venue - its beauty, its history, and just how special it felt. You can’t invent that about a space, it is inherent to the love poured into it and the care surrounding it. We will forever be so grateful to have found this special home in Logan Square! “Café Brauer was my absolute dream venue, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The space is stunning, the architecture and historic charm speak for themselves and hardly need additional décor to feel wedding ready. We had the pleasure of working with Ellen from our first tour to the day-of (and even after!) and she was incredible every step of the way. Ellen was extremely attentive, she answered every question and handled every request with such grace and care. I always felt supported, and she truly went above and beyond—coordinating seamlessly with our planner, florist, and other vendors to ensure our day was nothing short of perfect. It meant so much to feel like someone genuinely cared about our day through it all. We also used Café Brauer’s in-house caterer, Tigerlily, and the compliments haven’t stopped rolling in. Guests are still reaching out to us—as well as our parents—saying it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve attended and hands-down the best wedding food they’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend Café Brauer and Ellen more. It was everything we dreamed of and more!!”
