Love, Melissa
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Manhattan, NY
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

I've taken everything I learned in photo school and used it to influence my wedding photography. The end result? Images that feel effortlessly cool, timeless, and personal. I work in a way that encourages you and your partner to interact with each other and be yourselves, instead of focusing on me and my camera.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Melissa! She was so easy to work with every step of the way. She was responsive and organized but more importantly, you could tell that she genuinely wanted to make our day as special as possible. Neither of us are used to being photographed, but she created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere which made it all feel natural and even fun. ("Flirty hands!") She truly has a gift for capturing genuine moments without making anything feel forced. And our photos turned out absolutely stunning! Everything is beautifully composed and full of emotion. Each time I look back at our photos, I just remember how happy we felt in each of those moments. I truly cannot recommend Melissa enough. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! 3

Wow. Where to begin about working with Enza. From the moment I met her, she was an absolute dream. She completely understood my vision and brought it to life better than my wildest dreams. Not only was she extremely easy to work with and communicate with, but she is so fun, caring, warm, and passionate. She clearly loves what she does and her passion for bringing beautiful details to life shines through so magically in her work. My bouquet was absolutely breathtaking and my girls’ bouquets were so beyond perfect. The first time my husband and I walked into the ballroom and saw our centerpieces with our floating gold candles, it was like walking into a fairytale. It was so magical and whimsical - exactly what we wanted. I seriously can not recommend working with Enza enough - she will quickly become your favorite vendor and you will be blown away when you see her bring your vision to life.

We cannot recommend Valerie enough! She was such a delight to work with, so kind and easy going while still being on top of everything. We weren’t sure what to expect in the planning process and instantly felt at ease with her. She was ahead of everything on our to-do list and thought of a million things we didn’t consider. On our wedding day, we didn’t lift a finger and Val ran everything so smoothly. They say something always goes wrong at a wedding, but in our case everything went even better than we’d hoped. Awarded Best of Zola
The harpist and violinist were absolutely incredible — truly one of the most magical parts of our entire wedding day. My husband and I were completely in awe, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and cinematic the music was. It felt like something straight out of a movie, especially with the stunning ambiance of our ceremony location. From the very beginning, the process of choosing music through the company’s website was seamless. There were so many amazing song options to pick from, and we were so happy with our final selections. Hearing them come to life — especially on violin and harp — was beyond words. The musicians played so eloquently and gracefully, and their talent was unmatched. The music added a romantic, emotional, and elegant touch that elevated everything to a whole new level. Communication with the company was excellent. They were quick to respond, always friendly and accommodating, and remained professional and patient — even when unexpected weather challenges came up on the day of the wedding. They were flexible, understanding, and worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. The quality of the performance was truly a 10 out of 10. Guests were completely blown away, and many told us how unforgettable and moving the ceremony music was. The transitions between songs were smooth and perfectly timed. I would 100% recommend this company to any couple looking to add something special to their ceremony. They are incredibly talented, professional, punctual, and just a dream to work with. We’re so grateful to have had them be part of our big day — they helped make it feel absolutely magical.

Marcus Ho Dj
Rating: 5.0 (76 reviews)
  • DJ
  • Starts at $2,950
  • Serves Manhattan, NY

A 16-year veteran of the NYC club scene. I collaborate closely with couples to create their unique musical experiences for themselves and their guests by delivering a Sophisticated Savoire-Faire of seamlessly blended hits from past decades to what's currently in vogue; citing T-40 Dance, House, IndiePop/Rock, Nu-Disko, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, Latin and Reggae as some of my favorites.

Awarded Best of Zola
Marcus did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse! Prior to the wedding, we completed a worksheet on the timeline and our song preferences, and then had a planning meeting with him where we went over all the details and he gave us advice on flow and timeline based on his extensive experience DJ-ing weddings. Through all our interactions, we could tell how detail-oriented and experienced he was. The Prospect Park Boathouse can be a tricky venue with its short load-in time and long, narrow layout, but Marcus knew it well and planned accordingly. We also had a Vietnamese/Chinese wedding; in addition to a DJ, we also had a pianist with a singer, and a bilingual emcee. This added some complexity in terms of timeline and switching between the singer and the DJ, but Marcus coordinated well with everyone, kept track of the timeline, and handled all transitions between live music and DJ sets seamlessly. He also showed up a little early to make sure all equipment was set up well and did a mic check during the cocktail hour. During the dance portion of the night, the dance floor was packed all night and people did not want to leave! He played all the songs we wanted (along with additional ones he selected) and all the transitions and mixes were fantastic and kept the energy/vibe high. Many guests commented on how great our DJ was! Even though we had a different emcee, we know that Marcus would have done a fantastic job as an emcee as well - he is warm, friendly, gracious, and charismatic. He is not only a great DJ but also a fantastic human being!

I’m proud to bring that same level of expertise and artistry to every wedding I’m part of. I’m here to make your special day as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had both my makeup and hair done by Anastasia, and it was truly an incredible experience. Her team also worked with my mom, my sister, and two of my friends. Everyone arrived on time, and the atmosphere was so cozy and relaxed — it felt like getting ready with close friends. Before the wedding, I did a trial session where we discussed everything in detail and made a few final adjustments. On the big day, I felt absolutely beautiful. What I loved the most is that Anastasia has a very modern style — her hairstyles are contemporary and elegant, and her makeup is fresh and natural. My makeup lasted perfectly all day long without feeling heavy on my skin. I still looked like myself — just enhanced, glowing, and confident. The hair was absolutely stunning: it stayed flawless the entire day, but at the same time felt soft and flexible — no stiff hairspray buildup, no heavy, uncomfortable feeling. I changed my look three times during the day — from soft waves to an elegant updo — and Anastasia stayed by my side through every transition, helping and supporting me. Honestly, her style is simply the best. As a model, I’ve worked with many stylists before, but this experience was truly on another level. The quality of her work, her attention to detail, and the way she made me feel — I haven’t encountered anything like this in a very long time. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful I chose her!

Rebeca and Andrew are not just incredible photographers, but they are also wonderful people who make their clients feel so comfortable. Do not hesitate to book Andrew and Rebeca for your wedding or your next photographed event. My husband and I were joking around about how Andrew and Rebeca felt like our friends after sharing all our special moments together, photographing our engagement photos and our first look the day of the wedding. Rebeca and Andrew create a calm, down to earth, and joyful environment during their shoots. They did a fantastic job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera- we were so happy that we did an engagement shoot with them, they taught us some tips and tricks for posing in front of the camera, and so we were thrilled with how our wedding photos turned out a few months later. Additionally, Rebeca and Andrew are professional, ask a fair price for their incredible work, and are quick to respond to all emails and messages. They made us feel calm, confident, and well taken care of throughout the entire wedding planning process. On your wedding day, you are spending so much time running around, staying on schedule, socializing, etc. It can get really busy and overwhelming. So, we learned that some of the more quiet and intimate moments happen when you are being photographed at your first look or before your guests arrive at your venue. As a result, you don’t just want skillful photographers at your wedding, you want great people who you enjoy spending time with. Overall, we could not have been more happy working with Rebeca and Andrew- in fact, we will miss them! We definitely plan to keep them in mind if we ever need a professional photographer in the future.

DJ Dan Fudim
Rating: 5.0 (41 reviews)
  • DJ
  • Starts at $2,600
  • Serves Manhattan, NY
  • Offer

After 14 plus years DJing weddings across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, I know the fear is not just bad music. It is awkward MC moments, dead air, generic playlists, and a dance floor that never connects. My style combines real wedding experience with NYC nightlife instincts: live mixing, clean announcements, calm planning, and room reading that keeps every generation included without making the night feel forced.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we booked Dan, I felt this incredible sense of calm. I’d been told by others, “Your DJ will just do whatever they want”, but I quickly learned that Dan is different. He listens, really listens, not just to what you say, but to the things you don’t even realize you’re communicating. He takes those details, both spoken and unspoken, and uses them to craft a wedding experience that feels so personal, you’d think he’s known you for years. Dan’s kindness is the kind you feel, not just in the way he treats you, but in the way he treats your day. He takes his job seriously because he understands it’s not just about music; it’s about moments. And he works tirelessly to protect those moments. There are countless things he does behind the scenes that you’ll never even know about, all to make sure your day runs smoothly and exactly how you dreamed. Our wedding was especially tricky as we were blending Italian and Egyptian traditions, and I wasn’t sure how to make it all flow naturally. I told Dan how important it was to represent both cultures equally while also capturing us as a couple. He didn’t just nod and say, “Got it.” He researched. He planned. He asked thoughtful questions. He made sure every transition made sense, every song had a purpose, and every moment felt intentional. With Dan, you’re not just getting a DJ. You’re getting a guide, a sounding board, and someone who genuinely has your best interest at heart. You can ask him about things that have nothing to do with music— timeline issues, vendor suggestions, tricky wedding-day logistics—and he’ll give you honest, experienced advice because he truly cares about the big picture, not just his part in it. On the day itself, Dan wasn’t just playing music. He was quietly orchestrating the energy of the room. He made sure our guests were always engaged, that the dance floor was never empty, and that the flow of the night matched our personalities. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how perfectly the music blended our two cultures and one friend was literally Shazamming song after song because every single track was that good. Also, if you’re debating about a photo booth, DO IT and book it through Dan. The quality was insane. Everyone loves a photo booth, but these were hands-down the best photo booth shots we’ve ever seen at a wedding. Other agree.Crisp, vibrant, and so much fun—our guests are still raving about them. Dan sends you all the photos taken throughout the night and my husband and I keep going through them. It’s so fun to see our guests having a great time. Dan wasn’t just our DJ. He was our advocate, our cheerleader, and our behind-the-scenes hero. If I could give him 100,000 stars, I would. If you’re lucky enough to have Dan Fudim available for your date, book him immediately. It will be the best wedding decision you make.

My husband and I got married at The Sanctuary last weekend and had the time of our lives! We fell in love with the venue early on in our search and were shocked by how affordable it was for NYC given all that it included. From the large bridal suite (really, house!) to the quality food and the fire pit, we were blown away by it all. They were able to accommodate everything we asked for, including having our dog participate in the ceremony and having enough coupe glasses for our signature drink. I’m not sure I heard “no” once from Arthur and his team! Truly incredible service. All of our guests raved about how cool the venue was. It has a funky, nontraditional vibe while also providing everything that a traditional wedding venue offers. And oh boy were they attentive during the event. Every time my glass was empty, it seemed Arthur or another member of the team handed me a fresh glass. Our package included a lot of extras (DJ, cake, late-night pizza), which just added to the incredible value. Thank you SO much Sanctuary team for making our wedding an incredible night!
