Hi! M’Kensie here, the younger counterpart of this mother-daughter duo and also just so happen to be much of the story behind how the barn came to be. I was in my final year of college and planning a wedding for the Summer of 2012. I was so very blessed to grow up on our family farm, with a dad who loves to build things and who wanted to make all my Pinterest dreams come true. So as wedding planning began, construction started going up, and PLOT TWIST, the groom and I broke up…..that’s when our family realized God had much bigger plans for the barn. So with a little more time to dream, and much more time for construction, Lone Oak Barn was born. My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Every couple, every family, every vendor, non-profit, and company we’ve hosted has become part of the Lone Oak Family. Our hope is that you’ll come on in, stay awhile, and most importantly, come back and see us.

Rockin' R at Riverbank is a great location for a casual event with live music, drinks, food, and river access! The property has two bars, one cliffside and one river-side, and space for yard games and setting up along a stretch of the Guadalupe River.

Welcome to your own slice of peaceful countryside. Located on 52 acres of pristine farmland right outside of the New Braunfels city limits, The Allen Farmhaus provides a unique venue with unobstructed views for miles as far as the eye can see. Stainless steel prep tables, a large double door refrigerator and separate freezer are available for the caterer to utilize. Located in the reception barn, the space is centrally located so the caterers have easy access to all areas of the property during the event.

The Old Mill Weddings & Events Center features architectural treasures such as light grained cathedral wood ceilings and beams, beautiful stained concrete floor, elegant wrought iron staircase, a splendid rustic centerpiece chandelier and of course the Old Mill Wheel, reminiscent of the origins of Gruene Texas. Our 12,000 sq ft facility can host weddings of varying sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger groups up to 350. Many couples choose to have their ceremony under the majestic hill country oak trees.

We have a wedding venue located on our 100-acre property in a 150 year old pecan grove overlooking the San Marcos River. You'll have the option to reserve our seven luxury safari tents and cabin for your wedding weekend, allowing you to provide lodging to your guests. You may also reserve additional pop-up tents if you would like to accommodate additional guests.

Full bar, commercial kitchen, catering access and large window views of grassy plains and hills. In addition to the indoor AC space he the building includes a large covered space that can seat as many people for ceremonies. A large area between the enclosed venue and outdoor venue is perfect for setting up catering and other entertainment (bands, dancing, etc). Blanco is nearby to famous Fredricksburg wine country and just 1 hour from San Antonio and Austin. Easy to find.

At Sherwood Forest Faire, we consider your wedding to be our special event of the day! Therefore, you are front and center, and our staff is dedicated to help make this the most special day of your lives. Sherwood Forest Faire wants to make your wedding a unique reflection of your relationship. Our wedding venues are available on or off season. During the Faire season, more performers will be available, but in the off season we can still help you book entertainment.
