I am all about making sure you’re 100% satisfied. I bring the music and all the equipment necessary to have the best wedding or rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party or engagement party. I like to DJ the music that’ll bring a crowd together and get them dancing. I do accept song requests and I always have my notebook ready for the guest to write down what they want to hear. Merinda Starnes has performed as a solo, orchestra, and ensemble musician since 2007. She received her degree in harp performance from the University of Utah studying under Dr. Cathy Clayton. During her college career, she performed with the University of Utah and University of Arizona’s Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic as their principal harpist. ​Her solo performing career started at the age of 9, which has included performances at local city creative art concerts, church and religious meetings, as well as weddings, business and corporate events. She is currently the principal harpist for Skyward Symphony.

As a 30+ year musician, 20+ year stage performer and 10+ year MC, I have honed in my skills to interact with a live audience. I have performed in everything from Festivals to Weddings, World Competition Choruses to Theatre, Musicals to Amphitheater Variety Shows. I will bring continuity, comedy and character to your event.

I’ve been a full-time entertainer for over a decade. I started as an emcee for my college campus events, got a job at the school radio station, did two radio internships with Riverbend Communications in Idaho Falls and KSL in Salt Lake City. I built a career as an on-air radio host on stations like Z103 in East Idaho and Wild 101 in Boise. As more and more people requested me to DJ their weddings, I decided to fully invest in the mobile DJ side of my business and here we are. I work year-round honing my skills as one of Idaho's top mobile DJs.
