My fiancee and I, as well as several members of our wedding party, have not stopped talking about how great she was since our wedding a couple weeks ago. Sasha did our photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. On the wedding day, as others have said, she was somehow everywhere, but in the least obstructive way possible. I didn't even notice her during the reception or ceremony yet somehow she captured amazing pictures from lots of amazing angles. Leading up to the wedding, Sasha was a delight to work with. She was VERY responsive and willing to meet with us both over the phone and in person. She took the time to do a walk-through of our venue with us, which put me at ease to scope out where we'd take pictures. She even hopped on a Zoom call with us while on her vacation the week before our wedding. Hi, I'm Addie. I started this business about 10 years ago, although photography has been a passion of mine since high school. What attracted me to photography is the idea of capturing the fleeting: be they big moments or small, capturing something priceless never gets old for me. “We have had the pleasure of working with Redwood Rye Studios a number of times at a variety of private events, and the warmth, care, and artistry that is poured into their work truly stands out against the backdrop of dozens of other professionals that we've worked with. They take special care to make sure their clients/couples feel heard as far as their vision is concerned; they gently prompt folks (who may have little to no experienced being photographed) to get comfortable in front of a camera to ensure photos feel natural; they also add a personal touch of friendship which is formed quickly but earnestly, with everyone. We are Joe and Katye Brier, and picture-making is a daily passion and pursuit in our family. For our small wedding, we only needed one photographer, and Joe was everything we were looking for. We didn't need a bunch of portraits of the wedding party and family, and only had a rough idea of a post-ceremony photo-op.
