Turning Stone Farm is a small-scale, family owned and operated integrated agricultural farm, event venue and creative studio located in Greensboro, Vermont. At the heart of our property is a historic 1880s post and beam barn that we have been restoring for over 30 years. This agricultural cathedral is perfect for intimate gatherings and a variety of activities, a ceremony, music, dancing, cocktails and reception. Our spacious grounds surrounding the barn feature a hay field, a variety of trees, orchard, berry bushes, grape arbor, yards and vegetable and perennial gardens. Our property is just a half-mile from Caspian Lake and the village and a few miles to Hill Farmstead Brewery. The Summit Lodge is an exclusive resort. We will only host one wedding per weekend. The entire property is yours for up to 4 days and 3 nights! We can host 50 to 200 people for your ceremony and reception, and can house up to 130 in our cozy lodge. We have 10 acres of beautifully manicured grounds with tons of charm and character inside and out. Outside there are 2 beautiful saltwater pools, fire pit, life-size chess/checkers, horseshoes, corn-hole, shuffleboard, bocce, and an oversized chef’s grill that’s perfect for welcome parties and back yard barbecues. Inside we have O’Dwyer’s Poolside Bar, perfect for cocktail hour, welcome parties, and outside dining. O’Dwyer’s Pub is the ideal spot for rehearsal dinners and after parties. For decades Ted and Linda Fondulas have worked together as successful restaurateurs and event planners. In their 3rd act, they open up their wildly beautiful property for your occasion. Their venue, Back of the Moon, is located on a hilltop in the heart of VT near Killington Ski Resort. From the renewal of vows and offbeat elopements to bachelorette cooking parties or more traditional weddings, their private oasis kicks it for your affair. Chef Ted offers cooking classes and Linda is seasoned in event planning, so their food and beverage knowledge along with Linda’s aesthetic assists you in masterminding your special day.
