I have been fortunate to photograph a number of weddings at The Barn over the past several years. There is a reason The Barn is one of the most sought after venues in Vermont to host a wedding. From the elegant design of the main wedding barn to the gorgeous views behind your ceremony location, be prepared to have your breath taken away from the moment you arrive on the property. And the best part of all? You have the incredible team from The Barn with you every step of the way. Steve, Jenn and the 'family' of dedicated staff has your event as the highest priority. The level of attention and dedication to your event being the best day of your life is unprecedented in the industry. Photographing weddings at The Barn are the highlight of my year.

Intervale Center

5.0

Burlington, VT
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,250

Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860s Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones.

I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".
