I wanted to feel beautiful and empowered, and that passion grew into a career where I now help others feel the same. After 21 years in San Francisco, Portland, and Denver, I’ve made my home on the gorgeous Central Coast in San Luis Obispo. Out of high school, I went directly to cosmetology school. My first hairdressing job landed me on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills at Jose Eber. Not a bad place to start. I moved around a bit until I found a salon that I was happy with. I worked in Malibu, where I had a good high end clientele. But I lived for the weddings and prom days. So Fairytale was born. I made a website, got a booth at a bridal show, and the response was overwhelming. Then I decided I needed to find other artists with the same passion and talent to work with. Thats when I started Fairytale Hair and Makeup!
