Our new convention center is a beautiful venue, and we know we can exceed your expectations for the perfect event. Our convention center includes 7,800 square feet of event space that can be conveniently divided into rooms of varying sizes to meet your needs. We offer LED lighting of your color choice around the ceilings, access to a projector and screen, microphones, podiums, free wireless high-speed internet, and more!

Historic and warm tones and rustic vibe. Old wood floors, brick walls, live edge tables and bar tops throughout the Venue. 14 Foot high ceilings and great natural lighting as well. We have a large area for caterers as well and several great local caterers to choose from. We provide fully staffed bar for our clients and will design a beverage menu and budget that works best for you...the bride and groom!

Our venue offers an all wood Amish barn, tucked back in the trees, next to Emma creek. The numerous mature trees, multiple flower beds and 2 fire pits offer a wonderful outdoor atmosphere! The barn features a kitchen, a bar, men’s and women’s restrooms, a loft, a covered deck and a large area for dining and dancing. The barn can hold up to 200 people and has the option for an indoor ceremony, should the need arise. The outdoor space features a limestone stage for a ceremony, plenty of space for yard games, an outdoor dinner, outdoor dancing or hanging out by the fire pits. The outdoor party lighting provides a great atmosphere after dark. We have two parking areas, 1 large lot for guests and a smaller area for the wedding party and handicap parking.  Included in all packages: Chairs and tables for 200 people, bar stools, cocktail tables, wooden spools, arbors and use of the fire pits. We recently added a beautiful 3 bedroom log cabin available with our wedding packages!

From weddings and receptions to bridal showers and rehearsals dinners, the Sundstrom in "Little Sweden" has the space just for your needs. Our Banquet Hall on the main floor is quite elegant with marble pillars and a dance floor. This floor is equipped with audio & visual equipment. Our Dansstalle on the second floor, which has an industrial look, is a blank slate for your unique touch. This floor is quite popular for weddings and proms. We work with 3 local caterers to provide you with full service catering and serving staff. We also provide a full bar. When you book with us, all tables and chairs rental and setup is FREE. Glacial Hills Venues is often described as the "western looking town on the out-skirts" of Wathena, Kansas. Couples are pleasantly surprised as they tour the event space-we offer an updated decor with some rustic vibes. The space takes on the personality of each couple as they add their decorations and visions of their special day.
