About this venue

From weddings and receptions to bridal showers and rehearsals dinners, the Sundstrom in "Little Sweden" has the space just for your needs. Our Banquet Hall on the main floor is quite elegant with marble pillars and a dance floor. This floor is equipped with audio & visual equipment. Our Dansstalle on the second floor, which has an industrial look, is a blank slate for your unique touch. This floor is quite popular for weddings and proms. We work with 3 local caterers to provide you with full service catering and serving staff. We also provide a full bar. When you book with us, all tables and chairs rental and setup is FREE. If you cater with us, all linen rentals are FREE too. If you choose another caterer, additional linen and staff fees apply. Contact us today for more information.

Very little decorating is needed for the Banquet Hall with its marble pillars outlining a tile dance floor.

The Banquet Hall located on the main floor is a formal area that is perfect for either large or small weddings, receptions and dances. With a state-of-the-art audio/visual system, this space seats up to 200 people when using the dance floor. Another 50 people can be added if not using the dance floor.

No. We are a licensed bar so all alcohol must be purchased and served by the Sundstrom.

April, June, and November tends to be our busy months. If you plan to marry in one of these months, please call and talk to us ASAP before your date fills up.

Yes, we have parking along Main Street and Lincoln Street. The City's parking lot is available also across the street. All parking is free.

We retain 50% of the facility pay. The rest of the facility fee is returned to you. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the event, some of the catering fee may be retained as well.

Lindsborg's closest municipal airport is 20 minutes away at Salina (SLN), which has connecting flights to Chicago and Denver. Lindsborg's closest international airport is 1 hour away at Wichita's Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport (ICT).

We work directly with 3 local caterers. When you choose our caterers, you receive service staff, free linen rental, and an event manager who will organize the catering. You can also choose to hire your own caterer. If you choose to do so, we require a copy of their food or catering license for state licensing compliancy. A small fee will be added if you want to use our service staff or linens.
