When I opened SF Candy Bar in 2012, the business was busy from the start. In 2012, the economy was just coming out of a recession and Silicon Valley started to attract top talent from all over the world. Experiential add on features, like our candy buffets, was fun at office parties, trade shows and holiday parties. Brides and Mitzvahs also found so much joy in our services. Fast forward to more than a decade later, we have added on more services from popcorn buffets, custom packaged party favors, and trail mix buffets. SF Candy Bar is dedicated to providing stunning buffet designs to guests at special events.

What makes The Cakery unique is that every item is crafted in the traditional methods that were common to the trade before the modernization of factories and big box outlets. Auntie Viv's is an AAPI woman-owned & family operated small business adventure. When we visited Maui for the first time, and I fell in love at “first taste” with my very first Hawaiian shave ice. How I describe this phenomenon: “It literally was like a deliciously flavored, puffy cloud that instantly melted in my mouth & tasted like liquid gold. It was the best epicurean experience ever." I had my sights set on opening my own shave ice business & spending more time with my husband & two young daughters. I found myself being unhappy, working really long hours & it took a toll on my physical & mental health. Auntie Viv's opened Sept. 2017.
