Located in West Midtown Atlanta and built in 1970s, you will be greeted by the history that makes The West Venue the only venue of its kind in Atlanta. For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. Terminal West lies within the King Plow Arts Center in West Midtown Atlanta. The arts center originally started out as a plow factory but was converted into studios in the 1990’s. Terminal West once was an iron smelting room and has been transformed into a music venue with modern production while maintaining the original factory aesthetics. Terminal West opened its doors in March of 2012 and is now a concert venue/event space.

1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

The epitome of industrial chic, our main event space features an impressive wrought iron entrance that welcomes guests into an open and airy space with original hardwoods, exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, and warm natural light. A 1920’s inspired space, the Cellar, harkens back to Prohibition days with original stonework and vintage lighting. This hidden gem, located below the main floor, features cozy lounge furniture, an oversized antique safe, stone walls, and whimsical lighting. Experience the magic of the city from our Rooftop Terrace, an intimate open air space with a captivating panorama of the Atlanta skyline. As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Built in 1928, the Piedmont Room was first the home of the clubhouse for the golf course that resided within Piedmont Park. Now, it hosts some of Atlanta’s most memorable occasions. The original Stone Mountain granite walls and ivy-covered windows remain in the foyer while the main room features a modern feel with soaring windows, dark bamboo hardwoods and 15+’ ceilings.

It includes a catering kitchen, bridal suite, and built-in bench seating facing Ponce de Leon Avenue and the Atlanta Beltline. Bar Packages available separately and must be provided by our team. Capacity: 400 standing guests / approximately 220 seated guests! Our second wedding area, the Roebuck Room, is a versatile space located in the iconic water tower that rises above the rooftop. We can host up to 75 guests for a full-scale wedding, 100 guests for a seated dinner, and up to 150 reception style, the 11th floor space will be ideal for your private event or exclusive rehearsal dinner. While indoors, the expansive windows still offer our amazing Skyline Views.
