“Scott and his team from the Music Boutique were absolutely amazing in everyway possible (total package of amazing people, professionals, and just so talented) . If you like, read no further and just hire them (seriously!!)! If you are like me and need to hear a personal experience for convincing; here goes: being a postponed 2020 covid bride who changed location within 3 months - working with Scott and his team was seamless . From my first email to the Music Boutique, Scott (the owner) responded within 24 hours with everything I had inquired about. We emailed several times since then with what I thought were annoying or silly questions, but he answered everything in full detail and even spoke on the phone with me several times. Going above and beyond, he even went as far as telling me about how the ceremony usually goes and what others have done (as I was pretty confused). He was able to play every random song I requested. He played piano along with a violinist for my ceremony, and had a awesome saxophone player, Geoff for part of my reception. Geoff was able to also play some pretty random songs (hooks to old school rap) along with my DJ (DJ Joey G from Jade Productions who was also great). Overall - I could not recommend Scott and his team more. Hope this helps you pick them!”

“Lindsay's music really took our ceremony to another level. Coming around the corner to walk down the aisle, hearing the first few notes of the song and then her beautiful voice transported me. I walked down the aisle with both of my parents and we were laughing and joking around while waiting. As soon as she started playing the song for us, something changed, we all had immediate tears in our eyes, it was time! That was one of the most amazing moments of my life, and her music as the soundtrack was a huge part of the feeling that I remember. My husband and I really wanted to have a live musician play at the ceremony but we had no clue where to start looking. I went on gigmasters.com and just started listening to local musicians pages. As soon as we landed on Lindsay's and listened to her video of 'On Raglan Road' the search was over. I was sold in probably the first 10 seconds of listening. Her voice is amazing and she is SO talented. She wrote me back immediately and was so friendly and enthusiastic, it just made me more exited to hire her. She was super helpful in the planning of the ceremony music too. I didn't really know where to start and she walked me through what to think about, the different songs I could choose from, etc. We even had particular song in mind for the processional and she suggested a different, slower way to play it so it would make more sense for the processional. It couldn't have been more perfect in the end. She played for the whole cocktail hour as well and I think it created the perfect mood for our guests. “Just absolutely outstanding, every step of the way. We hired Ariana and her company to play music for our entire wedding (ceremony & reception). A string quartet and drummer. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. “One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing vendors who are great people with passion, care, and great energy. DJ Kevin is all of the above - the vibes were immaculate. My husband is a musician so music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for him and DJ Kevin met his high standards. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). “Hiring Herbert Holler was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our vision was a longer reception to leave plenty of room for dancing, being together, having fun and really wanted it to be a great time for everyone there, for all ages. HH had everyone dancing at the same time- kids, teenagers, or friends, our parents' friends, and my 89 year old grandmother. He was spot on in reading the room- which wasn't the most straight forward - I asked him to sprinkle some Arabic music in so my Lebanese family could come together over familiar music- all I did was provide him a couple of titles and he ran with the rest. Didn't overdo it, and everybody joined in. It was a dream. HH was professional the whole way through and didn't require tons of collab, and was flexible and quickly responsive. My advice: Hire HH.”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Luis is a wonderful DJ and helped make our wedding day so much fun! He is super personable, outgoing, and genuinely cares about making sure his couples' big day is everything they want it to be. He was super easy to talk to during our zoom and in-person meetings. The client portal is SO helpful and easy to use. You can customize your playlist however you want and he's great at feeling the crowd! We added on a Photo Booth which was so much fun for everyone! We got to keep a copy and also received the digital downloads. Luis also told our love story while we were cutting our cake which was such a nice touch! “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. “Everything about Pocket Change was a perfect addition to our wedding. Choosing our band was a major priority for us, as we know from experience they can make or break the reception. Pocket Change was everything we wanted, and more. From our first meeting with them, we felt comfortable and heard. They did a fantastic job of listening to our preferences and adapting that to what they were best at to deliver a great performance. They also did a great job of suggesting additions to our "must plays" that really went with the vibe we were looking for. Also, as a side note, the bride is a teacher, and we loved that Pocket Change is a band of music teachers! In addition to being absolutely perfect as a wedding band, they were also extremely affordable! We worked with some amazing vendors all around, but Pocket Change is the first review we're writing, because we really wanted to thank them for what they did to make our day special. We had a miscommunication with our venue about who was in charge of ceremony audio, and Pocket Change was able to jump in last minute to provide audio for the ceremony. They also let one of the bride's best friends join them on stage to sing Dancing Queen, which was so special for the bride and groom. There was a small issue with the wireless microphone during speeches, and their technician was able to jump in and solve it immediately! They were great at going with the flow and making situations that could have been stressful not at all. In almost every conversation we have had with guests since our wedding, someone has brought up what a great band they were. Hire Pocket Change - you will not be disappointed!!!”
