I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

Sami and her team at Rebel Creative truly created the tropical florals of our DREAMS! The entire process from understanding my vision to executing it was flawless. I am still getting compliments from family and friends, but the hugest thing to me was that we were absolutely in awe. Also, so grateful that Sami was transparent and flexible the whole process - willing to work within our budget, without sacrificing the look and feel I envisioned. Awarded Best of Zola
We were incredibly thrilled with the floral arrangements from Something's Blooming for our wedding! From start to finish, Michelle and her team truly exceeded our expectations. Two years ago, we had the good fortune of meeting her when she did my sister's wedding. It was absolutely stunning so we knew we were in good hands. I appreciated that Michelle took the time to understand our vision and listened to all of our ideas and preferences, while also offering creative suggestions that really enhanced our overall aesthetic. We also got to be part of the floral picking process which was so fun! The entire team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. On the big day, the flowers were nothing short of breathtaking! The bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements were even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The colors were vibrant, the blooms fresh, and the overall look was absolutely stunning. Our vision was "if wine and fall could have a baby, that would be our wedding!” and she delivered. Through the color pallet, the variety of flowers & foliage, fantasy pumpkins, and lanterns, our concept was brought to life. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous everything was! Their attention to detail was impeccable — from the intricately crafted pocket square for the groom and ring bearer to the lush arrangements at the altar. Everything was perfect. We were deeply appreciative of how seamless the delivery, ceremony setup, and transition to reception went. It felt like magic seeing it all come to life. Both my husband and I work in the entertainment industry ourselves and we know how much work goes into weddings. Knowing we had professionals handling this part of the process allowed us to sit back and enjoy the day. If you're looking for a florist who truly understands your vision and delivers stunning, high-quality flowers, we highly recommend Somethings Blooming. They made our wedding day feel even more magical! Thank you again for making our wedding day so special!

Florecer Designs

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Lawndale, CA

Welcome. Floral designs, one petal at a time. I have been in business for 1.5 years, I've always had a love for flowers and did it on the side as a hobby. After the pandemic, I was inspired to take a leap of faith to see where it could lead me. The style that best describe me are Romantic, Ethereal, Modern, and Whimsical. What really excites me the most about weddings is seeing the clients' reactions after they see my work, which is always priceless to me.

I planned my own wedding and Maria was my favorite vendor out of everyone I worked with. She had the most professional attitude and that eased a lot of my stress when it came to decor. She understood my vision but I also relied on her expertise for decision making. I absolutely loved my wedding flowers, they looked soooo beautiful. Thank you Maria for being so reliable and making my dreams come true. I highly recommend this vendor!

Eveni Floral Design

5.0

  • Serves Lawndale, CA

Hi, I’m Zoey. I founded Eveni based on my love for all beautiful things. I seek to design the perfectly imperfect, creating unusual yet subtle designs that reflect nature with an undiscovered beauty that is effortless and refined. It is the marriage of these two cultures which gives the work such meaning, combining beauty with balance. I love the way floristry allows me to unleash my inner artist. Putting together displays of seasonal colour and texture is at once fiercely creative and immeasurably soothing, and being able to create wedding flowers that play a part in people’s happiest memories makes it all the more rewarding.

Eveni Floral Design was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment I reached out, they were communicative, quick to respond, and so patient and kind as I worked through finalizing the details. They really helped me bring my vision for the florals to life, and were instrumental in helping me with selecting the perfect color palette. The end result was even more beautiful than I could have imagined - I received so many compliments from our guests on how stunning the florals were and how they really made a difference in bringing the whole venue together. Eveni Floral Design's attention to detail and commitment to excellence is unmatched, and I would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding. Thank you so much for everything Zoey!!

Kreativehands

5.0

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Lawndale, CA

I started Kreative Hands in 2001 from my home-based studio in Woodland Hills, California, with a passion to “kreate” and make a difference in people’s lives. As a busy mother raising twins with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Design Certification from Southern California School of Floral Design, I've learned over the years to reuse, re imagine and create floral arrangements into one of a kind masterpieces. My passion for nature and garden designs made our arrangements so unique and natural! My eye is always for unique flowers! Our home studio makes a beautiful welcome to our clients and the relationship is instant!

Awarded Best of Zola
I can't recommend Srini and Kreative Hands highly enough. Look, wedding flowers are expensive. Kreative Hands isn't exactly a budget floral option, but I found that their cost was competitive and they went above and beyond. If flowers are important to you and you can spend the money, ABSOLUTELY go with Kreative Hands. Srini is just a super kind human being who is obviously extremely passionate about what she does, and she's great to work with. From our very first call she was so interested in really understanding our vision and style, and she was really excited to do something a little bit unique and make our dreams come true. On the day of our wedding I was mostly sequestered to the bridal suite while everything got set up, but my day-of-coordinator and nearly every member of our bridal party commented on how awesome and super sweet Srini was and how amazing the flowers looked. She brought flowers for my hair and for our cake, and my hair stylist and our cake decorator couldn't say enough about how beautiful and perfect they were. The week of the wedding I had asked if she could bring four single roses to give our parents as part of the ceremony and instead of just bringing four roses she added some beautiful little greenery and smaller flowers and wrapped them in twine and brought bottles to sit them in by the arch. Just small examples of how she goes above and beyond and just nails it. If you're debating between a few florists, go with Kreative Hands. I know it sounds impossible but it really feels like they care about your wedding as much as you do.

Pat Frey Designs

5.0

  • Starts at $95 per arrangement
  • Serves Lawndale, CA

Pat Frey Designs has been in the business and joy of events for over 40 years. We can handle planning and design (including full florals) for any gathering or celebration from an intimate dinner to a 160 table gala. Our team includes several planners and designers and we are very accomplished in making your vision come to life through floral, decor, and efficient planning and management. Life is full of all kinds of memorable events and the celebrations that come with them and I think they should all be treated with whimsy, liveliness, and a touch of magic.

Kari and Pat Frey Designs curated, organized and designed my wedding last autumn at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. It was “enchanted forest amongst the dinosaurs” themed and had little nods to timeless films like Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, etc. Imagine a client telling you they want all that along with a tight budget and having to deal with very particular museum restrictions! Well, let me tell you... this team went above and beyond to accomplish this eccentric bride’s dream wedding!! Take it from me, weddings can be super overwhelming for a bride. Like decisions of what color napkins look good on the sweetheart table to how they coordinate with the linens on the cocktail tables, to making sure all the build staff are on the same page behind the scenes, to paperwork and communicating with all the dozens of vendors. I could not imagine doing this by myself! My head would have exploded! Not only was the design and organizing aspect completely handled and managed by the team, Kari was my personal therapist through months of planning and dealing with typical wedding pressures. Kari is a powerful force who gets the job done. She will let you cry on her shoulder and she will step up for you if you need someone who can grab ‘em by the balls! I recommend Kari and Pat completely and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire them again and again. I plan to hire them when we renew our vows in 10 years and I’m sure I’ll come up with an even more elaborate theme for them to play with. Working with Kari and Pat Frey Designs was the most therapeutic experience of the entire wedding. They held my hand every step of the way, had patience for all my indecisiveness, and kept me sane on top of it all. The final product was literally ripped from my imagination and executed flawlessly. It was all a beautiful dream! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kari and Pat! Mara Rouse-Turbin

Elysian Flower Club

  • Starts at $1,800

We are passionate about helping fashion forward couples create modern weddings with an earth friendly focus for a stunning celebration so you can party responsibly and sustainably. Our florals are locally sourced and we work with independent farmers around Los Angeles as often as we can. It’s where the etherial, organic style comes from and is also why no two events look exactly the same! We celebrate strange Mother Nature. Our studio is free of plastic based foams and reuses and recycles almost everything. We specialize in micro weddings under 70 guests and elopements with an A La Carte Menu. And full service design starting at $6k.

Alyssa did an incredible job with our wedding florals. She was prompt and responsive in communication and transparent with pricing and contract details. I love fruits and vegetables and textured, sculptural floral arrangements and she truly brought my vision to life and brought so much joy to us and our guests. We even ate some of the fruits and veggies after the wedding! Her arrangements were stunning, tasteful and creative and she took the time to listen to what I was wanting rather than impose a standard wedding style or trend on us. I had asked for a memorial bouquet for a family member and shared that they loved sweet potatoes and she even grew some sweet potato vines in her backyard to include in the arrangment, which was such a special and meaningful touch. I also really appreciated her commitment to sustainability and using local flowers. I would highly recommend Alyssa to any engaged couple!

Hijinx Flowers

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Lawndale, CA

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!

I have always been drawn to the power of beautiful spaces to inspire and draw people together. Building floral arrangements has become my avenue to facilitate this connection amongst dinner guests and strangers.

Of all the Vendors we hired, Emma and Roobarb was the best decision we made. As two people who didn't have a lot of direction to give on what we wanted, Emma was able to interpret the few pieces of info and put something spectacular together. We were so impressed with how everything looked - and more than anything we loved that it wasn't just a standard wedding design. It was unique, cool, and had a whole vibe to it. Highly recommend working with Emma. In addition to the amazing designs - the team was very professional, prompt, and issue free. Thank you again Emma - we loved eveything!

We're a modern floral design studio specializing in out-of-the-box design ideas that go beyond traditional. Our goal is to WOW you from the first phone call to the end of your event and we pride ourselves in creating sustainable art.

We NEVER thought "florals" were going to be as high up on the budget. However, Drew sent us a proposal that was so hard to pass up - we shifted funds around because we knew her way of thinking was going to give us the wedding of the century. A unique blend of "modern, earthy, ethereal" florals and drapery that had my mouth TO THE FLOOR when I saw it in person on the big day. Drew and her team are more than just event florists...they're geniuses! They completely shifted the way we thought about flowers and how to incorporate them on our wedding day. Will forever cherish the brainstorming sessions, patience as we made decisions, emotional design reveals, and SoHo cocktails. I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN! If you just want a florist to come in and add centerpieces, find someone else. BUT - if you want a creative mastermind that will take your wedding to the next level, go with Rogue & Fox. You won't find anyone or anything better. xo

Foxgloves & Folly

We are a full-service boutique floristry studio and love to design flowers for all types of weddings – no matter how big or small! Our overarching style is very natural, loose, free-flowing, asymmetrical and lush with an emphasis on greenery and textures – we would describe it as a ‘refined wildness’! We place the utmost importance on using seasonal and locally sourced materials, and sustainable methods of designing, wherever possible.

Kate has such beautiful flower arrangements and is very clever in putting various flowers and foliage together to create unique pieces. I love that her arrangements have a “wild” look to them, it’s what makes them so interesting to look at, even more so to photograph. I found Kate through a close friend of mine in London, which was perfect, being British, I wanted a British touch to our London to California Wedding. My Husband and I got married in April 2019. Our Cocktail Hour and Reception Dinner was in Redondo Beach at Shade Hotel and our Ceremony was held at a Church in Long Beach. Kate accommodated and welcomed our own visions and helped us make our imagination possible. We had so many compliments, the ceremony flowers, the bouquets and boutonnières, the reception decor and even cake flowers which added a simple yet elegant finish. From the beginning planning to the Wedding day, we couldn’t of had our experience any other way. We would highly recommend Kate, she is wonderful, passionate in her field, as well as calm and confident in delivering her work. Thank you Kate for everything! We couldn’t have been more proud of what you did to make our day so special.

We spoke to Meg and she put together the proposal of our dreams, and then brought that vision to life. About a month before the wedding we met to finalize our details, and Meg gave us such helpful guidance as we worked to bring our vision to life. I left with a good idea of what our wedding would look like, but on my actual wedding day my expectations were so far exceeded that I was rendered speechless. Meg provided the most vibrant, gorgeous florals. From our ceremony arch to my bridal bouquet to our tablescapes, everything was stunning. The flowers were unique, bright, and complementary to the venue. It elevated our wedding so much and we are so grateful to Meg’s vision and work for making our day so gorgeous.

Meadows Floral Design & Co.

Hi Friends, I'm a planner-turned florist based in sunny Southern California. I've been in the event industry for more than 15 years and have traveled all over the world. My signature style is a blend of whimsy and modern elegance, where lush blooms and vibrant colors dance together in perfect harmony.

I mean it when I say that Debra Meadows is the best wedding planner & wedding designer in the business. She is worth every penny & she truly deserves the world. Debra made our wedding truly the best event of my lifetime. My husband loved her, my entire family loved her & all of the other vendors were so appreciative of her constant hard work and dedication. I know it sounds like I’m an overly doting fan girl… but I AM. lol. For the rest of my life I am so truly grateful for everything Debra did for my husband & I during the process. My wedding was an intensely complicated endeavor & Debra handled it with beauty, grace, talent & ease. She is a mythical & incredible human who made all of my dreams come true. It wasn’t easy. She had to help me build the venue from absolute scratch. I am an artist & a creator & Debra made me feel seen & heard throughout the entire process. I look at the drone footage now & im telling you, this woman created a masterpiece. She handled family matters and different vendor personalities with consistent professionalism and finesse. She sat through COUNTLESS zoom calls with me figuring out transportation & so many tiny minute details. I would spend the money to hire her again one hundred times over & will do so for any future events I plan. This review section isn’t nearly long enough to explain how much what Debra Meadows did for me & us… but we love you forever Debra! This review could be an entire novel & that’s why it’s taken me too long to write! But if anyone ever is questioning hiring Meadows Events, hit me up & I will explain to you every reason why! P.S. You can call her Disco ball Debra because she came up with the idea of the gorgeous disco balls at our wedding! She has immaculate taste.
