For our tasting the owner Moyofore met me at a location with the most beautifully packaged boxes to open at home so our family could taste with us. Choosing was so very difficult! I think I will need to order the coconut cake separately for a different occasion because it was our second runner up choice. The day-of cake was delivered on time, set up beautifully for our outdoor event with a protective cover that didn’t distract from its beauty, and wow was it stunningly decorated. Perfection. The best part was eating it OMG. My guests were raving!! Not one leftover slice…except for the top of the cake which we will save for our anniversary. “When I was planning my wedding, choosing the makeup artist was one of the things I was most nervous about. On a daily basis the only makeup I wear is a little mascara so I was scared of looking too done up and not myself. My hair stylist suggested to me that I give Sarah a call and I’m so glad he did! When she came to my house for my trial she asked me all about how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day and I felt totally understood. The first trial I did with another artist was horrible and I left feeling like a contestant on RuPaul so it was so nice to have someone that understood what I wanted and could totally deliver. She was so friendly and had a great calm energy about her that made me feel comfortable. On my wedding day she did my makeup, my mother and my mother in laws, who were both terrified of looking to over the top as well but of course it turned out perfect. Sarah also covered up a small tattoo on my back that I don’t love and didn’t want to be the main focus of the day. All her products must be top notch because nothing ever faded, I never needed to reapply anything, not even after walking two miles in the September sun and dancing all night. I took a picture of myself when I got home that night and I looked exactly the same as I did that morning when Sarah left my house. I couldn’t have been happier with the work she did and am so happy I found her!”

“I enthusiastically recommend Rob for all your photography needs. He is super personable, affordable, and his photos are absolutely stunning. Rob photographed our wedding and what initially set him apart was his video messages and desire to have video meetings (we got married during the COVID-19 pandemic). At first, we found it a bit unusual, but we quickly realized that the video calls made it so much easier to get to know Rob and build a connection, particularly during a time when in-person meetings aren't an easy option. We had a few video calls to talk through our vision and hopes for the wedding day. Rob also walked us through examples of weddings he had done that would be similar in style to ours so we could get a sense of his artistic approach. We could immediately tell that he was very thorough and detail-oriented. As we were planning out the day, Rob gave super helpful suggestions, demonstrating his knowledge of what worked in the DC area (including at the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, and the DC War Memorial) from a photographer’s perspective, and helped us develop a realistic plan for the day given our time together. On the wedding day, Rob made us feel very comfortable - both with him and with having our photo taken as we were newbies at that. And all of our guests felt the same way as he was organizing the after ceremony family portraits. He also turned around the final product in a very timely manner (within one month), and provided a sneak peak within the first week. We were completely blown away. The photos were vibrant, creative, and captured the joy and memories of the day so well. Family and friends are already hanging them up in their houses.”
