We also booked our photo booth (Feature Booth) through them, and it was the same amazing communication and day of execution. As a graphic designer, I wanted to customize the text around the photo to give it a little bit of a special touch, and they were able to accommodate this and send me a digital preview as well. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

“We’ve been lucky to know and work with Randall for a few years. When we finally decided to make things “official” we knew we wanted someone that does great work, that we trust, and would make us feel comfortable. We wanted our day to feel like a relaxed family event and Randall helped with that and so much more. He suggested possible locations that would meet our dream event and times to maximize the best lighting for the area. Once we settled on the location and date, he maintained excellent communication in preparation to the event to properly flesh out the day’s timetable, day of logistics, and post. On the day of our wedding he expertly directed us and our families, using the natural lighting to capture the perfect shots. We would have been lost without him, especially since no one knew how to assist with bustling my dress. During our dinner reception he seamlessly directed restaurant staff to assist in transitioning between meals/dessert/toast for more amazing shots. After the wedding he kept us updated on next steps for our pictures. Randall is truly a gem and I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone special to capture their day.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

“James was so much fun at our wedding! He was a great MC/DJ and was a hit with all of our wedding guests. “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. “I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.”

“Literally from the first interaction, Trey was thoroughly professional. We knew instantly that we'd be in good hands during the process, and he maintained through the big day. With Trey, we always had clarity over next steps, and we also got as much flexibility as we could ever hope for. From our very first meeting, Carissa showed incredible professionalism — she is organized, always ahead of schedule, and a true trooper who constantly reminded me that I was in good hands and that everything would turn out beautifully. Throughout the planning process, Carissa was there every step of the way: from designing the vibe, brainstorming stationery ideas, narrowing down floral options, and helping with venue and vendor selection, to managing the actual flow of the wedding. You think you know what you want — until you’re faced with ten different options and endless Pinterest posts! Carissa was my calm guide in those moments. She patiently walked me through decisions, helped me focus on what mattered most, and gave thoughtful, supportive advice while always respecting my final choice. One of the things I appreciated most was how she reminded us that this was OUR day, and that we should experience it fully. She built the itinerary to include intentional moments of privacy, so we could process everything and make lasting memories together. On the wedding day itself, Carissa and her assistant Helena were with us every moment — directing us where to go and what to do so we didn’t have to think about logistics. She even prepared little cards for our wedding party with key times and tasks, so everyone knew exactly what to expect. When last-minute needs came up (as they always do), Carissa was like a fairy godmother — somehow making everything appear and solving problems before we even had the chance to stress. Overall, Carissa is THE wedding planner if you want your dream wedding. She doesn’t just help you execute your vision — she helps you build it, piece by piece, with incredible care and expertise. Her network of vendors is also fantastic, which saved us so much time and stress. Thanks to her, we ended up with an incredible team, including a handroll ice cream cart that was such a hit! Our engagement photos and video were turned around so quickly, within about a week, which was such a nice surprise. Our wedding photos took a bit longer, but it was more than worth the wait. We received over 900 stunning photos along with a 10-minute wedding video, and the quality and editing were absolutely beautiful. The photos are so timeless, truly captured our day perfectly, and we are absolutely obsessed with them. We look at them all the time!!
