Our family lives on one of the few farmlands within the borders of York, Maine. Our passion for preserving the endless open fields surrounded by two-hundred-year-old trees and generations of wildlife has encouraged us to share and celebrate with you. In addition, we have proudly continued to preserve history by restoring a barn from the 1700s that we discovered in Barnstead, New Hampshire, and brought to the coast of Maine. Our mission is to share all this beauty with you on your special occasion. Among the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, we would like to provide a taste of country elegance for your everlasting memories.

The historic Horse & Hound is a 12-bedroom lodge in the White Mountains that is perfect for an intimate micro-wedding or grand affair. Guests have easy access to some of the northeast's best hiking, and mountain and road biking. The lodge sits on a quiet country road two hours from Boston, Portland and Burlington, so your guests will have easy access to airport. The eight-acre estate offers variety of options for wedding events, including: an exposed-beam dining room, a large paved patio, upper and lower outdoor terraces, a charming garden and greenhouse, and a horse trailer bar! Couples can also take advantage of the venue’s many photo opportunities, including among the sugar maples and the bridge over the babbling brook. The Horse & Hound provides an easy drop off and turnaround spot for buses and 55 parking spaces for wedding guests. There are a number of other accommodation options for guests not staying at the property within 5 miles.

Autumn Lane Estate is a special place to us and a property that has been in the family since the area was settled. We purchased it 3 years ago and designed this venue while preparing for our own wedding! We put our heart and soul into crafting the space while using our own wedding planning experience to provide extra unique details with future couples in mind. Our barn uses centuries - old techniques and traditions of joining heavy timber frames with a mortise and tenon method, supported by wooden pegs and brackets. Using local woodworkers and craftsman bring the true Maine experience to our barn.
