Flanagan Farm hosts exquisite events year round. With two magnificent barns set on 66 acres, the property is versatile and accommodating—designed to take advantage of Maine’s four seasons. Flanagan Farm offers an unforgettable backdrop to host your event, whether it is an intimate gathering, an all out bash, or the wonderful options in between. Weddings at Flanagan Farm include use of the entire property, including overnight accommodations in the farmhouse for 10-12 guests from Thursday through Sunday. You are welcome to host your ceremony and reception on site, as well as rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch if you'd like. Our historical 3 acre waterfront property with 2 acres of open area on the water with its views of Casco Bay and Portland Harbor, our heated 2500SF National Historic Landmark Greenwood Playhouse with our lighted water view deck, and our outdoor lighted pavilion. We have a commercial kitchen for your caterer on site, and we have an 8' x 4' gas grill. We are all volunteers of the Peaks Island Lions Club that own, operate, and maintain the site, and profits go to Island Scholarships and grants. May, June, and October are our discounted months.

This historical site was first designed in 1927 for former governor of Massachusetts, Alvan Fuller. We are one of the last working formal estate gardens of the early 20th century. The meticulously maintained rose gardens, with over one hundred varieties, begin their season long bloom cycle in late June and continue through October. There is a Japanese garden, complete with a small bridge and Koi pond, which blooms in early May. The English perennial plantings provide a continuous array of color and interest from spring until fall. The gardens are lined within large sculpted hedges, and the rose beds are framed in an array of superbly kept turf paths.
