We are an outdoor/indoor venue. Out property overlooks the Columbia River with 180° views and breezes. With a wedding gazebo, formal gardens, a historic Orchard, an acreage under the Oaks. Indoors, the Knapp Center has two floors, each will seat up 50 at tables. There is a professional kitchen, a carpeted library, and multiple sized indoor/outdoor tables. Originally a Ford Dealership, City Farm Chehalis is history like no other. Works of art from the 18th and 19th century abound while period furniture compliments the décor. The building features Italian Renaissance paintings, which adorn the acoustic coves, and over 50 chandeliers including Lucille Ball’s dining room treasure. Palatial hand-carved pillars accent the first floor and intricate royal facades surround the stage and dance floor upstairs. Classical architectural medallions, ornate mouldings and motifs, old-growth wood and brick abound. The Vintage Grand Room, Clubhouse and Rooftop Patio are available for banquets, weddings, receptions, meetings and any other special event. The grand room is approximately 6000 sq ft of 1889 charm and can accommodate up to 250 guests. Original hardwood floors and beautiful brick give it a true vintage feel. The room is surrounded with white tree lighting, which provides a great ambiance. A bride room is located on the first floor of the Hotel Washington building, and can be added to any rental. The building also features an elevator which provides access to all three levels of the building.

A large kitchen and serving room is conveniently located just next to the ballroom as well as two private suites for guests. *All tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, surround sound PA system, wireless microphones and overhead projector. *We offer an open vendor policy which means that you may bring in outside caterers and alcohol for no additional fee.

The Village Ballroom was established in 1909. If the handcrafted hardwood floors could talk, we would fill a library with stories from the gatherings and celebrations that have been shared within. The enchanting ballroom sits on the second story of the turn-of the-century building, and many of its historic features remain today, such as ornate radiators and milk glass light fixtures. Adjacent to the ballroom is a comfortable sitting lounge, as well as a bar/beverage service room. Every rental package includes use of our our tables and chairs, as well as our in-house sound system. With a 250-standing capacity and 130-sitting capacity, it can accommodate both intimate and large gatherings.
