I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. We had several video calls and he was always calm and confident as we dished him all the stress we could manage. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. At every phase of planning -- from our introductory call to walking through the event portal to wedding weekend - DreSteff Events was a dream. DJ Steff was patient, kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly responsive. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true. Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. Our day was absolutely perfect and a large part of that was due to Tyson’s organization, creativity and fun spirit. I am picky when it comes to mic set up, and his lapel system was great. He even recorded the ceremony for me, to allow me to listen to my service after. He shows a real passion for his craft, and he is good at it! I even got to hear some of his warm up mix as I was leaving for the evening and his mixing was well above average.
