“We used Dave for our wedding on April 15, 2023. We are so glad we did! He setup sound and music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and we did a few add-ons with up-lighting and the cold sparks. Dave review: He was extremely professional and has a perfect voice and presence for a hype DJ. He arrived on time and setup without any issues. We spent a lot of time on the phone discussing the wishes we had and building out the timeline. He made plenty of great recommendations for minor changes to make the night go smoothly. He even had no problems with a last minute change we needed to make when a bridesmaid didn't show up which required a script change. Dave had the dance floor packed all night from 7:30-10:30pm! Up-lighting: so fun! It syncs with the music and colors can change. It added classy effects during dinner and fun energy for dancing. Cold sparks: we didn't add these until a few days before the wedding as a last minute splurge! We wanted them but weren't sure it was worth the cost. We are SO glad we did it! There was a tech that came out to run them and it was so fun to have them go off for our announcement into the reception, our first dance, and other random songs throughout the night. We had so many guests mention how much they liked it! And it helped get people on the dance floor when they could see the sparks go off from outside through the windows.”

I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. “Fernando was great to work with, I believe he is the owner. The purpose for my 4 stars was for a couple of reasons; I sent over timelines and the finalized timeline was great! However, I don’t believe that the DJ that came to my wedding read it over thoroughly. My bridal entrance song was botched, it had very detailed instructions, there didn’t seem to be any questions, however, it was started late into the song so my whole grand entrance was thrown off, it was supposed to be a surprise to my husband, but with it starting later into the song it didn’t offer me my grand entrance as the bride; I was very disappointed as I was patiently waiting to enter at a certain time of the song and finally just had them open the doors to enter at a completely different time in the song. As a bride when you spend months and months for that moment, it just made me very sad that it was taken from me. Another area, which was also detailed in the timeline, was for the bride and sons dance, I requested to have everyone on the dance floor for that dance because my kids are younger and I didn’t want them to feel like everyone was staring at them or get stage freight, however the DJ had everyone leave the dance floor and we were up there alone. I had to check to make sure he had the correct timeline because it seemed like there were things that just seemed off. The last thing was we started with a DJ named Mathew, he was unresponsive when I reached out to him in December, we finally had to reach out directly to the owner who took care of us from there. The DJ at our wedding, on all other things did great! Even our last dance he brought a speaker outside for us to dance under the lights which was a great idea. I would say it would have been great to have spoken directly to the DJ that would have been at our wedding prior to the wedding as these little issues could have been sorted during that time. All communication was through Fernando, he was very responsive.”
