Kalena is a phenomenal photographer! She took our engagement photos and we loved them so much we asked her to be our wedding photographer. We live in Kansas City but she flew to Texas to take our photos and had our wedding album done in less than two weeks! You will not regret hiring her -- very professional, communicative, and talented!

First off just like that, the day got a whole lot better now that you are here! But let’s get one thing straight: if you are here, I want you to feel free to be YOU! Being true to who you are makes this process a hell of a lot easier! This is a judgment-free free safe space, and I want you to be as comfortable as humanly possible! Now that’s out the way, I'm Jovan Kiah, specializing in wedding and portrait photography located somewhere in the cornfields of Indiana. But always prepared for a photography adventure, I’m already packed with a suitcase of snacks, my passport, & playlist that spans from Disney musicals to '90s R&B hits.

Jovan was absolutely amazing to work with. On our calls before the big day, she was always so happy and excited and answered all of our questions and it gave us such a sense of ease. I never once had to worry or stress about photos. Day of the wedding she completely killed it. She was still her happy self but was able to organize us and snap some amazing photos. She did a fantastic job of even catching the perfect small moments, some of which I didn’t even know she was capturing. The photos are all so naturally beautiful and I can’t even begin to describe how much we love them. They are clean and bright and show us, our personalities, and our people perfectly. 100% the best decision we made.

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

With over 10 years of industry experience, my strengths clearly lie in wedding and portraiture photography. Whether you're a recently engaged couple looking for someone to preserve your journey from fiancés to newlyweds through photographs, an expectant Mama hoping to capture your maternity glow or simply wanting to document you and your loved ones during whatever special season of life you're in, I would love to hear from you, I specialize in all types of portraiture but I am renowned for my wedding and engagement photography above all else. Whatever your photo needs are, I would love to chat and find out if we're a good match.

Sam was our girl from the beginning. She encouraged our pups in our engagement photos and worked around their lack of being photogenic. She pushed us, comfortably, out of our comfort zone. She was found by my Maid of Honor on Instagram and I immediately knew her style was what I had been looking for. When it came to wedding day I was most excited to see not only our photographer, but a friend. She was supportive, easy to work with and guided us in the right direction when needed. She knocked out our photos in a timely manor while positioning and giving great direction as to where to move to make the picture look better (something that was important to me). I am happy to scream her name for recommendations from now on & return to her in the future!

I cannot recommend Amanda/Salt Ivy Photography enough. When choosing a photographer for our wedding and for our post-wedding mountaintop shoot (instead of an engagement photoshoot), we wanted a photographer who had a unique artistic vision who produced dynamic and emotional shots. We wanted photography that really stood out and was not the run of the mill wedding photography. Most of all, we wanted photography that captured the authentic emotional connection we have and the incredible energy of our big day. When I saw Amanda's work, I knew she was the one. Not only was her work absolutely STUNNING, but she was incredible to work with. We had to change our wedding date 3 total times due to Covid... and even moved it out of state halfway through... Amanda was always flexible, understanding, accommodating and encouraging. The day of the wedding she was calm, loving, fun, and her energy really made the day even more special. Our post-wedding hike/photoshoot the next day was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire wedding experience. Amanda is not only a phenomenal photographer and artist, but an even better human. 10000000000000/10 recommend.

The New Romantic

Attleboro, MA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $9,500

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Megan is one of the kindest, nicest, most wonderful humans, on top of being a truly fantastic photographer. From the first call to discuss her style and how the process would go, we could tell she was different. She was so easy to work with! She made everything feel so natural and put both me and my now-husband at ease. She was considerate and creative both during our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, offering suggestions and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery, golden hour, and spontaneous moments to truly capture our day. She treated us and our party with tenderness and grace, and brought an incredible calm to a very busy day. Her photos are also absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them, I honestly can’t believe they’re real! She elevated what she saw and captured our day, distilling the emotions and experience, and produced photos that are a perfect encapsulation of our day: full of pure joy, love, and light. I am so glad we worked with Megan - we will treasure the moments she captured forever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
