Here’s a small confession: I’m not very comfortable in front of a camera. Oh I can take a decent self-portrait, but once someone else is taking my photo, everything falls apart: where do my arms go? Does my stance look normal? And oh no, was that smile natural? So if that happens to you when the camera comes out, no worries! I know how you feel.

After almost 20 years behind the camera, though, I’ve got a pretty good handle on keeping sessions relaxed (and fun!) so that no matter your comfort level, you’ll wind up with photos you’re going to love. I’ve lived in St. Louis all my life and love the warm brick walls, stunning parks, and quirky locations it has to offer. I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting places to explore, so if you want a location that’s a little off the beaten path, I’ve probably got something that will work. Or if you want a new take on a familiar place, I’m happy to oblige.
