Jonathan and Faulks Floral Co are seriously heaven sent. Jon is SO talented. Faulks was recommended by a personal friend. I love the call & consultation for the inspo look of the wedding. He really listens and considers your dream vision. After the consultation, he provides the type of florals and the inspo look altogether, which is SO helpful. I wanted spring, pops of color. I also desired to include my love for the ocean into my wedding. How do you combine all those elements to a ranch wedding? A rustic coastal wedding! Touches of beautiful driftwood with floral for the reception tables, my cascading bouquet, my arch, EVERYTHING with all the details are extroadinary. It was my dream come true. I also appreciate that he is open and more than comfortable to customize his services to your budget! Very flexible. It is a joy to keep these pieces from my wedding forever. Faulks Floral Co is a hidden gem of southern California, very memorable vendor. The kindest and most artistic guy! We are so lucky and appreciate him going above and beyond, making our day that much more special. Thank you Jon! -Krystal & Dillon

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

Unicorn Wings & Amazing Things!

5.0

Redlands, CA
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Idyllwild, CA

Welcome to Unicorn Wings & Amazing Things, where each bloom tells a story. I'm Dani Rose, with 18 years in floristry, turning weddings into floral dreams come true. Our journey started in event planning, leading to bespoke arrangements that capture unique love stories. We blend trends with tradition, focusing on quality and detail, ensuring your day is unforgettable. Beyond the flowers, we value the personal connections, crafting atmospheres that echo your love. Let us add magic to your special day. Contact us—where passion meets artistry.

As a wedding photographer, I have the distinct pleasure of capturing the essence of love through my lens, a task made all the more delightful by the presence of exquisite floral arrangements. In the case of this particular wedding, the mastery of Unicorn Wings & Amazing Things! in the art of floristry was nothing short of captivating. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted by a symphony of colors that were thoughtfully chosen to echo the romantic palette of the wedding theme. The deep reds whispered passion, while the gentle whites spoke of purity, and the blush pinks hummed the first notes of a lifelong love. It was as if the florals were intricately woven into the fabric of the celebration itself. The composition and variety of the flowers added layers upon layers of texture that my camera adored. Each petal, each leaf, stood out in its own right, contributing to the collective beauty without a hint of discord. This diversity allowed me to create images with depth and richness that spoke volumes of the day's emotion. It was the attention to detail that truly set Unicorn Wings & Amazing Things! apart. The delicate floral crowns, the groom's boutonniere, the cascading bridal bouquet—each element was a testament to the florist's art, making every photograph a tribute to their craft. The flowers were not merely decorations; they were characters in the day's narrative. They transformed spaces, enhanced moments, and provided a lush backdrop to the most tender of exchanges. The bouquets were radiant in the golden light, and the centerpieces became lanterns of joy as night fell. From the soft whispers of morning to the evening's final dance, the consistency of beauty and style in your work painted the day in strokes of undeniable elegance. It was an honor to photograph such artistry, and I am grateful for the role your florals played in telling a story of love that will be cherished for years to come. In the dance of light and shadows, Unicorn Wings & Amazing Thing's floral designs were not just seen—they were felt, becoming an indelible part of the memories etched into each frame. For a photographer, there is no greater ally than a florist who understands the power of ambiance. And for that, I am thankful.

Pat Frey Designs

5.0

North Hollywood, CA
  • Starts at $95 per arrangement
  • Serves Idyllwild, CA

Pat Frey Designs has been in the business and joy of events for over 40 years. We can handle planning and design (including full florals) for any gathering or celebration from an intimate dinner to a 160 table gala. Our team includes several planners and designers and we are very accomplished in making your vision come to life through floral, decor, and efficient planning and management. Life is full of all kinds of memorable events and the celebrations that come with them and I think they should all be treated with whimsy, liveliness, and a touch of magic.

Kari and Pat Frey Designs curated, organized and designed my wedding last autumn at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. It was “enchanted forest amongst the dinosaurs” themed and had little nods to timeless films like Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, etc. Imagine a client telling you they want all that along with a tight budget and having to deal with very particular museum restrictions! Well, let me tell you... this team went above and beyond to accomplish this eccentric bride’s dream wedding!! Take it from me, weddings can be super overwhelming for a bride. Like decisions of what color napkins look good on the sweetheart table to how they coordinate with the linens on the cocktail tables, to making sure all the build staff are on the same page behind the scenes, to paperwork and communicating with all the dozens of vendors. I could not imagine doing this by myself! My head would have exploded! Not only was the design and organizing aspect completely handled and managed by the team, Kari was my personal therapist through months of planning and dealing with typical wedding pressures. Kari is a powerful force who gets the job done. She will let you cry on her shoulder and she will step up for you if you need someone who can grab ‘em by the balls! I recommend Kari and Pat completely and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire them again and again. I plan to hire them when we renew our vows in 10 years and I’m sure I’ll come up with an even more elaborate theme for them to play with. Working with Kari and Pat Frey Designs was the most therapeutic experience of the entire wedding. They held my hand every step of the way, had patience for all my indecisiveness, and kept me sane on top of it all. The final product was literally ripped from my imagination and executed flawlessly. It was all a beautiful dream! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kari and Pat! Mara Rouse-Turbin

Mobile Vulgaris

5.0

Vista, CA
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Idyllwild, CA

Mobile Vulgaris (MV) is a floral design studio that redefines floral artistry with bold and provocative creations. Our journey commenced as a passion project inspired by the union of gothic aesthetics and luxurious extravagance. It swiftly evolved into a thriving studio renowned for its distinct and captivating designs. At MV, we believe that floral design is more than arranging flowers; it's a form of self-expression, a celebration of individuality, and a means of storytelling. We are committed to evoking emotion, provoking thought, and challenging conventional beauty through our luxurious and daring floral arrangements.

I hired Mobile Vulgaris after communicating with Kelsey. She was enthusiastic and prompt in her replies. I felt like I was talking to a friend. She was very flexible with my demands and desires. She even met me in person to provide me with mock ups and was receptive to my feedback. She met all of my interests and continued to communicate with me throughout the whole process. She kept me in the loop about how long it would take for delivery from Costa Rica. She did her research about my wedding venue, was on time, and traveled a far way to deliver. She took care of everything and reminded me to not worry. She reached out closer to the date without me inquiring. She went above and beyond!! She even surprised me with including some white roses in my bouquet! My whole wedding party loved their flowers and Kelsey's choices. I am extremely pleased, grateful, and fortunate to have worked with her! Thank you Kelsey!!

We couldn't be happier with the magical work Sami did for our wedding! We booked Rebel Creative Co. for our August wedding at the SmogShoppe in August, and working with Sami in the months leading up to the wedding was so easy. She was very upfront about pricing, and open to putting together new plans to work around a budget, which is so amazing in a wedding vendor. I shared my general ideas and inspiration, and what Rebel Creative put together was so much more than I had dreamed of. I wanted bouquets and centerpieces made of greenery only, no flowers, and they incorporated the most luscious textures and greens to create such works of art - it was really unique and worked perfectly with the venue. It was so easy to communicate with Sami during the whole planning process, and my bouquet might be my favorite part of my whole bridal look - I didn't want to put it down! I would highly recommend Rebel Creative Co!

First of all, as wedding coordinator, Angie was always on top of it, very responsive, accessible, flexible, and proactive. These are the traits we look for highly in a wedding coordinator and she had it all! She helped not only make our dream wedding come true, but also executed it on the day of. We fully trusted her through the entire planning process and especially the day of. We felt a huge relief knowing that she had our back and was coordinating and directing everything to run smoothly, which she did. Even after the wedding, Angie took care of us by making sure we didn’t forget anything, took stuff home and stored it for us until we were able to pick it up. If that’s not going beyond her job description, I don’t know what is ..!! Now for decoration and florals- We loved our decorations and florals at our wedding. Our vision could not have come to life any better. At the planning of it all, we were so unsure of what colors/florals/centerpieces/decors go well with our venue, bridesmaid dresses, suits, etc… we had so many questions. Angie’s experience helped us guide and narrow down our choices. As the wedding date got closer, we wanted to change things around and Angie was so flexible and helpful to make these changes. With everything said, we are so thankful to Angie and BelovedEvents team. Unfortunately, we hope to not have another wedding (hahahah), but if that were a thing, we would definitely want BelovedEvents as our coordinator and florals again!!! Angie, thank you so much for everything!!! -Jenny and Daniel

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

5.0

Harrisburg, PA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Idyllwild, CA

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

Found Floral

Berkeley, CA
  • Starts at $15,000
  • Serves Idyllwild, CA for additional fees

My name is Judy Leung (she/her) and Found Floral is based in San Francisco Bay area & beyond. Found floral is rooted in intentional and modern approach to floral and event design. With a focus on creating a flowerful experience that celebrates the culture and stories that are uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Judy at Found Floral was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning process! I knew I wanted florals that were textured and unique and not too cookie-cutter or traditional, so this was my top criteria when searching for a florist. Judy was able to masterfully bring the vintage backyard dinner party feel to our wedding which had 260 guests and still make our wedding feel unique (each table had different tropical and rarely seen flowers). Over 20 of our guests have mentioned to me since how much they loved the florals at our wedding since then - so many people have complimented our florals and shared that they are their favorite florals they've ever seen at a wedding and are still thinking about them today (some guests even have group texts focused specifically on our wedding florals)! The other big thing Judy did for us was the florals for the mandap (arch) for the ceremony - it was so spectacular and such an incredible focal point! It was raining for our entire ceremony so we were grateful to have a pop of color against the grey backdrop. The Found Floral team also used such unique flowers for the arch and laid them out in a way that was the perfect balance of textured but also refined (without being stiff or overly formal). My favorite part of working with Judy was that she took the time to understand my vision but then was able to operate and make decisions independently to bring that vision to life. There are 10000 things to do during wedding planning and it was such a relief to know we were in good hands with Judy and not having to make tiny decisions like picking out individual flowers or greenery or designing much of anything. I would work with Judy again in a heartbeat - she has such a chic unique style and is warm and makes her clients feel so comfortable at every stage of the process. Found Floral truly is the best florist in the Bay Area!!

I have worked in the wedding industry as a calligrapher for almost 10 years and Victoria was a truly talented professional. I recommend SunCanyon Florals with the highest regards. The entire process, from ideation and vision boarding, to the day-of execution was flawless. Her creative eye and talent did not disappoint. I wanted COLOR at our wedding and the flowers were better than we could have imagined. Numerous guests commented that the florals were their favorite part of the wedding and made the day what it was. She sourced the majority of the flowers locally which was meaningful for us. Victoria's gently confident presence was lovely and made for an enjoyable experience for all involved. We sat down together and pulled images that inspired us, she provided us a visual quote with images of the flowers she planned to use and the scope of each piece, and we prioritized pieces together to stay within our budget. My bouquet, the ceremony arrangements, and the men's pocket squares were some one of my favorite pieces. The bar moment and table arrangements were equally stunning. The day-of, SunCanyon's set up was flawless. The venue coordinator commented on Victoria's professionalism and stated that she was a vendor she would love to work with again. A true compliment from a seasoned professional. SunCanyon was our favorite vendor and we would work with her again in a heartbeat!
