“We worked with Jeremy for our wedding this past July 2024. We were able to setup our contract early in the year and filled out a thorough questionaire for music choices, announcements, day-of events (first dance song, anniversary dance song, etc.) which gave us a great starting direction for planning the reception. Day of was perfect. Mics were available for our officiant and ourselves at the ceremony, the music quality was great. We had told Jeremy that the songs we elected in the questionnaire were more of a palette of our music tastes and we were thrilled by our/his music choices throughout the day both during the dinner and dancing part of the reception. And for the dance portion of the night, we were blown away by that all the songs were blended and mixed seamlessly stringing the night together. He did NOT just press "go" on a playlist that played through the night be instead weaved songs and kept our party going til the very end. “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. “Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing.
