From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved! Part of our package included having Mitch play Sax at the reception… JUST DO IT! It was so fun having him jump on the dance floor and interact with our guests! “This as an excellent Jazz band. We had an outdoor wedding in August with a theme of a summer garden party. We wanted a live Jazz band to play 3 x 45 min sets and after finding Reception Jazz on line they seemed to be perfect. I had a couple of conversations with Scott in advance to discuss the details and became immediately aware that this band was going to be professional and easy to work with. We booked a 3 piece (Keys, Bass and Drums) and the week before the wedding we called and asked if they could also bring a Sax player (Which they did). Even that late change was no problem. We live streamed our wedding to several other countries as people couldn't travel with COVID-19 and some technical difficulties meant that the timing of the musical sets was disrupted. Scott and the guys were amazing and simply went with the flow. There is a lot to manage in a wedding but we didn't need to manage this band. They were perfect.”
