Country Club of Greenfield was established in 1896. It is one of the finest, and oldest, golf courses in New England. On October 22, 2011 the former clubhouse was destroyed in an unfortunate fire. Over the next year, a brand new building was constructed on the grounds of the old restaurant, and Terrazza Ristorante opened its doors on April 1, 2013. The restaurant is managed by Abaz Cecunjanin and his two brothers, Ermin and Erdin Cecunjanin, who also serve as executive chefs. This family team earned previous success as the owners of Bella Notte, a unique Italian restaurant that offered fine dining, banquets, dancing, and one of the most spectacular views in the Pioneer Valley.

When booking a wedding or special event with us you not only get the ceremonial and event grounds, but you also get to choose from treehouses, earth homes, A-frame, Yurts and other unique rentals of your choice all included for an unforgettable wedding destination for you and your guests! The Whitehall Armory was originally built in 1899 to repel attacks from the English if they were to return to New York by way of Lake Champlain. Kathy had attended University of Vermont, fell in love with the state, and vowed to return one day. John left teaching to take his lifelong organic gardening passion to the next level. They looked at a number of farms across southern Vermont, and when they found the Farm at Williams River House, they knew they had found someplace really special – a front row view of Fox Chair Mountain, verdant green hayfields, timeless stone walls and split rail fences, and a stately home dating back to the time of our nation’s founding! They were home, and they wanted to share this magical and romantic space with others.
