The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family settlement, one of five Shaker settlements in The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village in New Lebanon, New York. Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. A true working farm, you will enjoy looking at our sheep grazing in a nearby field. Our fully renovated barn can comfortably fit 225 guests with plenty of room to dance.

The Pruyn House is the Cultural and Historical Center for the Town of Colonie. We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. All else provided by caterer or rental service.

Red Maple Vineyard is a beautiful vineyard and farm, located on 143-acres of vibrant and diverse property which over looks the historic Hudson River. We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The smaller of the two, the Westfield room, has a capacity of 50-150 people (minimum of 100 people on a Saturday and 50 any other day of the week). We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.

There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.
