The Bayfront Club was a hidden gem of a wedding venue that truly helped make our special day enjoyable and stress-free. Their day-of coordinator was exceptional - she ensured everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could simply relax and take in all the special moments. The venue space itself was lovely, with beautiful waterfront views. The Bayfront Club provides all the essential items like tables and chairs, allowing you to customize the decor to your taste. Communication with the events team was always prompt - they responded to emails and calls very quickly, which was much appreciated during the hectic wedding planning process. For the quality of service and beautiful venue, the Bayfront Club offers great value. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to any engaged couple looking for a waterfront venue that will help facilitate an amazing wedding day.

Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

On April 13, 2024, we held our wedding and reception at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center. During the planning of our wedding, we worked with Amy, Sonia, and finally Katherine to create our ideal day. All were very pleasant, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating with our arrangements, and were very responsive answering numerous questions that we had. The wedding set up was exactly as discussed and the transition from outdoor to indoor on the day of the wedding (way too windy a day for an outdoor ceremony) was seamless, thanks to the wonderful staff! The reception area, bar, and food was set up exactly as had been discussed and the food was delicious! All of the guests commented on how wonderful the food and staff were. Staff also was very helpful with connecting our music through the hotel's WIFI system. We were even given a room for dressing and preparing for the ceremony. The atmosphere was very relaxed and professional (but not stuffy) and we never felt rushed or anxious about any of the arrangements. The amount owed was exactly what we had been told so there were no surprises there. Overall, it was a perfect day and the staff and facilities at the Marriott couldn't have been any better. I would not hesitate to hold any future events there, knowing the kind attention paid to every detail to make every event special.

We had our wedding at The Elkridge Furnace Inn and were thrilled with our experience. The venue itself is gorgeous with beautiful natural surroundings that provided a classic, elegant backdrop for our special day. We held our wedding reception at the B&O Railroad Museum and it was a perfect venue for our special day. Kathy, our main contact, was extremely responsive in answering all of our questions during the planning process. The museum was an air conditioned, spacious room that comfortably accommodated our 60 guests. We loved being able to take photos with the historic trains as a backdrop. The B&O staff, especially Kathy, ensured the room was properly set up, clean, and ready for our event. From start to finish, they made the experience nearly flawless. It was a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere that lent itself well to celebration. I would highly recommend the B&O Railroad Museum as a unique and memorable wedding venue.

Kate and all the Viceroy staff were awesome and available to guide as we hosted a small, socially distance and intimate wedding reception. She was always available and flexible. She is the most awesome ambassador for the Viceroy hotels. The hotel was new and well maintained and we loved the outdoor patio where we held our reception. If you are looking a place to host a small outdoor wedding and or reception definitely consider the Viceroy. They heard our concerns and made sure our safety and the safety of our guests was paramount. The food was amazing, definitely try the chicken sandwich!

What initially made us go with the National Press Club was that much of the most complicated aspects of putting a wedding together are available in-house. You deal with one person who asks the right questions up front, assesses your wants and needs and manages every detail from that point forward. If you’re planning your first wedding (like we were), it’s likely you’re already getting overwhelmed by the realization of how many critical details go into a successful wedding. However, at The Press Club: Reception Catering: Check. Cocktail hour catering: Check. Bar: Check. Tables / chairs / linens / etc. Check. Dance floor: Check. Audio Visual technician: Check. Alphabetizing your table place cards. Check. And so on and so on. All we needed to do was hire a deejay, a wedding photographer, a bakery for the wedding cake and the florist. And on the day of the wedding, the NPC staff took care of getting our vendors in and out and dealing with unexpected logistical issues, which there always are with any large events. The pricing was transparent and the estimate on the banquet order was what we paid. Ok, those are the practical reasons the NPC was a great choice. Now for the aesthetics. The Press Club is quintessential Washington, DC classy. They have multiple rooms that one can rent to customize your wedding experience. Our ceremony took place in the Holeman Lounge which flowed into the First Amendment Lounge, where we had our cocktail hour. The First Amendment Lounge offers stunning views of DC, including the Washington Monument and the east wing of the White House. Our reception took place in The Ballroom. We also had a room for our vendors to stage and a private space for us and the wedding party, which was such a nice touch. Many of our wedding guests were in awe of the NPC. It feels very exclusive and so many of them took the opportunity to take pictures of themselves at the Press Club podium and selfies with the luminaries and historical figures adorning the walls throughout. The service: This is where the National Press Club really stands out. We were blessed to have Renee managing the process from beginning to end. We can’t stress enough the amazing service she provided. She went through every detail with us. Twice just to make sure she captured everything correctly down to how we wanted the napkins folded. Two months before the wedding she put together the most beautiful food tasting experience for us. Before locking in our menu, we tasted a number of appetizers that would be served during cocktail hour as well as the dinner options and desserts. We also tasted a variety of wines. All in all, it was a preview of how fantastic our reception would be, with both the food and the service. The day of, Renee and David took fabulous care of us and our guests. Both really went above and beyond of what we could possibly imagine. During our rehearsal the day before, Renee noticed the wedding party was struggling a little to get the timing of the processional right and she jumped in and helped with our timing and ended up cueing us as to when to start walking the actual day. All of this combined to make our wedding a fabulous experience with zero stress. As positive as this review is, it falls hopelessly short of conveying just how wonderful our experience was.

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

The Watergate hotel was a fantastic spot for a wedding reception! I had my rehearsal dinner at Luckie's and it was great. It was a casual atmosphere and we offered a slider station, the crab cake sliders were so good. This was really a one stop shop and they made the experience so easy and stress free.

We got married @ The Mount Washington Tavern on August 19, 2023, it was a magical night. We (groom and bride) had very little to do or think of. The Mount Washington Tavern staff made it so easy for us. From selecting the menu, guiding us through decoration, flowers, signs, cake, deserts, and so much more. They were amazing! Very flexible and accommodating. We only had to get a photographer, officiant, and DJ. No need for a wedding coordinator, they took care of that. Our friends and family who attended the wedding had only nice things to say… • "First wedding cake that was actually good. Who made it?" • "Crabcakes were great.” • "Flowers were outstanding, best ever!” • The aroma of beautiful flowers filling the room coupled with the great officiant were magical." • “Bride and Groom, you did an amazing job selecting everything it is perfect…" well we fessed up and gave credit where it was due - Mary & Holly @ The Mount Washington Tavern did it all… we were actually hands off. • “Friendly staff.” Why would anyone go through the work of selecting a venue, screening caterers/various vendors when they could go to The Mount Washington Tavern and have most of it under one roof? We had our wedding at DW on September 1, and it was truly flawless. DW is such a well oiled machine and the night went incredibly smooth. It was such a pleasure to work with Latoria, Chloe, and Tori throughout the planning process. We had about 150 people with a band and it was the perfect fit. The room was STUNNING and the team was super accommodating with last minute changes and a huge wrench thrown our way on the big day. No one even flinched and they adapted beautifully. SO sad it's over and I wish we could do it again!!

We hosted our wedding reception at Rocklands Farm and I was so happy with the experience! The barn has a rustic elegant ambiance and the surrounding farm and winery is picturesque. Their “corn crib” was ideal for appetizers and a fire pit while guests arrived before being seated, and a bonfire made a great outdoor space for a November wedding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They worked seamlessly with the caterer Simply Fresh and our cake maker. Their day-of coordinator was great, keeping the timeline on schedule effortlessly. This was something I was very stressed about so having it go so smoothly was huge for me. Our photographer Jonalee Earles was able to set up lights etc. ahead of time. One unique aspect was the variety of table decor and signage provided, which I was able to look through and select ahead of time and which fit the ambiance beautifully. It looked amazing and took the pressure off us to bring our own decor. Rocklands made our wedding day truly special. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stress-free, gorgeous venue with great staff!

We decided on the Tower Club to hold our 40th wedding anniversary party at and it exceeded our expectations! The venue was very impressive with amazing views on all sides of the Washington DC metro area. Our guests enjoyed being able to spend the cocktail hour either inside or on the outdoor wrap-around terrace on the 17th floor. The drinks were varied (including cocktails like mojitos) and the food was perfectly done and delicious. The space allowed our guests to transition easily between the dining room to the vestibule which contained the bar and dance floor. The evening went off without a hitch and our guests stayed till closing as they were having such a good time. Of particular note was our event executive, Ms. Lindsay Rhoades. She was very welcoming and easy to talk with, listening carefully to our vision of the event and making appropriate suggestions. It was her wonderful personality that initially impressed us. During the process leading up to the event, Lindsay was always on top of the preparations, was able to answer all our questions and make requested adjustments to our plans for the event. We are very glad we chose the Tower Club for our event and would put them first on our list for any future events or parties.

From the initial visit I knew The Mansion was going to be where my wedding dreams would come true. Susan is hands down the best and without her my anxiety would have been off the chart. I’ll preface by saying this is my second marriage and can compare my experience with to my first wedding. Catering By Uptown was fantastic from the beginning. They have excellent responsiveness, attention to detail and the food is amazing. Everything we wanted on our wedding day was accomplished. The only slight frustration I experienced was not having contact with our specific day of coordinator until the week of the wedding. But that didn’t even end up being an issue because, as I mentioned, everything was perfect. They’re so flexible and easy to work with. Though I wasn’t communicating with the same person every time I had questions, their internal communication was so strong and efficient that it seemed like I was talking the the same person. I can’t recommend them enough.

Patricia was so accommodating on making specific adjustments and was so professional and responsive the entire process. Shortly after finalizing everything is when I was in contact with Melissa. Melissa is honestly so incredibly sweet, professional, and 100000% a rockstar. The entire planning process was so smooth I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa. My mom and friends continue to text each other in our group chat going on and on about how perfect the day was and how amazing Melissa was. The entire staff at River creek including Oscar and the gentleman who sits at the front desk are soooo incredibly kind and just makes you feel so welcome the second you walk through the doors. We cannot say enough good things about Niko, Mary, Billy and the entire UMPH staff who made our wedding day extraordinary. The level of care and commitment this team took to ensuring our day was special was unparalleled. From the food to the beautiful cocktail space and grand ballroom it was everything we wanted it to be. Not to mention the 105 degree heatwave day in June, they kept our guests cool and calm in the midst of a bitterly hot day. From the minute we booked Niko took care in making sure we understood exactly what we were paying for with no hidden surprises. Mary took care of the bridal party morning off as the ladies were getting ready and Billy ensured the front of the house was smooth sailing during the reception. Many guests commented at how smooth the entire event went and it’s a testament to the great work of Niko and team (along with Sarah from Sleeping Bee who was one of UMPH’s preferred day of coordinators). We had our wedding here last month, and we were blown away beyond expectations! Nicholas was our first point of contact, and within a day or so, we had our first phone call and he answered every question I had. He was so transparent from the very beginning and he also led our venue tour. As soon as we drove onto the property, we knew this was our venue. Nicholas stayed in contact with us throughout the next several months and was so prompt in his responses. We chose the gold package, and Alida was assigned as our coordinator. She was super helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but we cannot get over how amazing she was on the day of. We had a mixup with an order for my signature drink (lychee martini) and received guava juice instead of lychee juice. My husband tried to arrange for someone else to bring it, but no luck due to time constraints. I was a bit bummed. Then, during our private dinner, Alida magically walks in with a lychee martini for me. I’m still not entirely sure how she arranged for it, but it was one of the best parts of our night. A few days later I find out that we actually forgot to bring the sparklers for our exit, but we had a sparkler exit at the wedding without a hitch… it turns out Alida had some extra and used those instead. There were little things throughout the day that *almost* went wrong, but Alida handled everything with such grace, found a solution, and somehow kept me calm through it all. We can’t thank her enough. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests had the best time and could not stop talking about the amazing food by Gala Cuisine. We were able to do a mixed Indian and American menu, which really set this venue aside for us! We loved every moment of our wedding and will think of it for years to come.

I CANNOT say enough great things about Clyde's!!! I really wanted to keep things as simple and efficient as possible buy getting a venue that would be what I would consider to be "all inclusive" in terms of reception necessities (tables, chairs, food, silverware, glassware, dishes, linens, etc.). CHECK! I also really wanted our wedding reception to have an elevated simple yet elegant garden party aesthetic. DOUBLE CHECK! Plus, I used to show horses and am an avid equestrian, so the fact that they have an equestrian theme was just the icing atop of the cake! When we first went to look at the space, I fell in love with it! We ended up reserving the outdoor terrace for the reception and also. the two rooms upstairs for our wedding party to get ready in. The outdoor terrace was absolutely gorgeous and the reflecting pool was just spectacular! Having the rooms upstairs to get ready was great because then we had a place to escape and also to leave our belongings safely and securely. When getting ready, they had the waitstaff come upstairs and we could order anything off of the brunch menu. That was a lot of fun and made everything so relaxed and enjoyable! Tara and Keeley were absolutely fantastic! Super professional, super quick with responses, and great upbeat personalities! They really helped make our wedding day so spectacular! Another bonus, since we reserved the outdoor garden terrace, they also reserved and indoor option for us as well for a rain plan - FREE OF CHARGE! Everyone at the wedding was saying how great the food was, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was superb! I honestly can't think of anything I would change. I can't say enough great things about Clyde's I HIGHLY recommend them! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or any event, as they have so many different options for event spaces!! Go check out Clyde's NOW!! I personally stan weddings at hotels, and I think all of my guests now know why. This Marriott is right be airports and metro lines, plus it is absolutely STUNNING. I cannot wait to get my photos back, plus the service is just incredible. The suite I was given was enormous and perfect for getting ready, the decor is gorgeous, and the staff was perfectly well organized, special shout out to my event coordinator Erin who was my calming grace throughout the whole planning process. Party all day and night and just take the elevator to your room, it's the way to go.

The outdoor site affords expansive views of the golf course, tall grasses, and pond. An indoor ceremony site is also available, complete with a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that afford beautiful views of the course. Indoor receptions can be held in the ballroom, which has a maximum capacity of 180 guests with a dancefloor. It also has an attached patio, which is excellent for cocktail hour or general mingling.

Ashley was happy to answer any question we had and the venue was extremely flexible with our vision and wants. Ashley and Fatima made sure that the entire night ran smoothly and we had the best night of our lives! The grounds and the venue made the perfect backdrop for all our wedding photos.
