“The Retreat at Hiawassee River was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. They were prompt with communication and helpful with all my questions, making the planning process seamless. We rented the all cabins and the pavilion so only our guests were able to stay on-site. It made for a very fun weekend as we got to spend more time with our guests. We also had the flexibility to do what we wanted throughout the weekend - there were no time constraints on start & end times for Friday & Saturday gatherings - which was exactly what we were looking for. Lastly, the decor closet was amazing. We had to bring much less decor knowing that the closet was full of decor options. The Retreat at Hiawassee River exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful and unique wedding destination.”
