Enjoy the scenic 6-mile drive from SW Rochester on paved roads to a magical place nestled in the rolling hillsides of southeast Minnesota. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Now booking for year-round events! We do still have room for a 2024 wedding! Now booking 2025.

They were so accommodating, not only to the bride and groom but to the vendors that were hired. The owners and staff were all so personable, friendly and very helpful, they definitely went above and beyond for their clients! I hope to celebrate another event there someday!”

Goodtree Farmstead is an elegant and rustic Minnesota farm event and wedding venue in Northfield, just a short drive from the Twin Cities. Located in rural Northfield, we are a few minutes outside of the quaint downtown area, but also a 15 minute drive from Lakeville or 40 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis or Saint Paul. We are a 14 acre former dairy farm nestled in a wooded area surrounded by green farmland and our very own pond and wandering creek. Our red barn--built in 1897 with soaring ceilings and stunning pegged beams, and the other farm out-buildings have all the charm you need to make your farm wedding or special event dreams come true.

It’s the perfect location for a ceremony and reception, with plenty of space for guests to play, eat, and roam around throughout the day. The farm at night, with all the lights, created a great atmosphere for drinks and dancing. The backdrop of the trees, and the barn, and water made beautiful wedding pictures. I cannot recommend this venue and team enough for your event!”
