I’m also newly married to my husband Jared who is wonderful and my favorite person to be around. I enjoy capturing moments that are sweet, genuine, and full of love. With a BFA in Photography, I've spent the last 10 + years building a unique skillset and developing my own look to my work while slowly carving out my place in the world of photography. I’m Megan Thompson, and I am the gal behind the camera at Meganography! I’ve always had a passion for photography, ever since I was a wee little one! When I was approx. 4 years old, my Grandma would let me use her camera to take pictures of my dolls (lol)! I've owned Meganography since 2016, and I've been photographing love since 2017. I love to have fun and I put 110% into everything I do. I’m outgoing, talkative, silly, a little sarcastic…but most importantly I’m a mother. I LOVE photography and I got into it after having our first daughter. Like most new parents I wanted to capture everything she did. It became an obsession for me to perfect my photography, partly because I like to be the best at whatever I do and also because I wanted to have amazing pictures of my girls! I’ve had some of the worst experiences with photographers before I became one.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!
